  • Publication number: 20210327414
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for training a control system based on prior audio inputs. The disclosed systems and methods receive a non-lexical or interjectional audio input. State change indications are also received and stored by the system within a predefined period of time starting from the time the system received the audio input. The system then receives a subsequent audio input. If the audio inputs of both the audio input and the subsequent audio input match, and contextual information for the audio input and the subsequent audio input match, the system stores a match association, comprising a confidence factor, for the subsequent audio input to the audio input in the associative data structure. If the confidence factor is greater than a preconfigured confidence level, the system executes one or more functions based on stored state change indications.

  • Patent number: 11151345
Abstract: A charge-transfer material enables patterning approach where the polarization angle in stand-alone films can be precisely defined at the single pixel level and reconfigured following initial alignment. This capability enables new routes for non-binary information storage, retrieval, and intrinsic encryption, and it suggests future technologies such as photonic chips that can be reconfigured using non-contact patterning.

  • Patent number: 11113828
Abstract: An image of at least a portion of a room may be received, the image of the room comprising an image of a sensor mounted in the room. At least one optical parameter related to the image of the room may also be received. A distance may be determined between the sensor and a camera that captured the image of the room, wherein the determination of the distance is based at least in part on the optical parameters and on known physical dimensions of the sensor. A sensitivity requirement of the sensor may be determined, based on the distance. The determined sensitivity may be sent to control logic of the sensor.

  • Publication number: 20210243505
Abstract: A method and apparatus for performing an integrated search is provided. An interface is provided that allows users to search and select any data related to a searchable term. Searchable terms may comprise titles of content, actors, and tags. Upon receiving results from the initial search, the user progresses through the initial search by selecting a result from the initial search and conducting a further search of that selection. The search may progress through many layers of searching in order to find information useful to the user and the user may perform actions based upon results of the search. The search implements a display with two columns, the first column displaying selectable data, and the second column displaying results to the selected data. The search is further customizable based upon a privacy level selected by the user.

  • Patent number: 11082217
Abstract: Techniques described herein enhance the durability of cryptographically protected communications sessions. The negotiation of a cryptographically protected communications session results in the negotiation of a primary secret and a secondary secret. The primary secret and secondary secret are stored in separate locations, such as in two locations in RAM, one of which being used as a RAM disk. The primary secret is used to cryptographically protect the communications session. Following the detection of a change of state event, the cryptographically protected communications session switches to the secondary secret in place of the primary secret to cryptographically protect the communications session.

Abstract: A computer implemented method and system for providing financial services are described. The system and method include determining an account balance for a financial account. If the account balance is negative, notice of the negative balance is sent to the account holder in real time. After a predetermined period of time or grace period, and/or by a predetermined end time or cut-off date or time, it is determined whether the negative balance was cured. If the negative balance was not cured during the grace period, an overdraft fee is assessed to the financial account.
