  • Publication number: 20080007978
Abstract: A DC power transmission system of a voltage source converter using a pulse-interleaving auxiliary circuit is disclosed. The converter system of the present invention comprises an IGBT converter for converting an AC power to a DC power or the DC power to the AC power; an open Y-Y transformer and a Y-? transformer for stepping up or stepping down the AC power having a predetermined magnitude; a capacitor for dividing a DC voltage; and a transformer and a half-bridge auxiliary circuit for overlapping a pulse type input voltage to increase a number of pulses of an output waveform. In accordance with the present invention, the normal transformer is used instead of a tapped transformer to reduce the size thereof and to obtain an accurate transformer ratio, the 3-level half bridge is used instead of the H-bridge to reduce the switching loss in order to increase the number of pulses of the output waveform by superposing the voltage in the form of the pulse using the auxiliary transformer and the bridge circuit.

  • Publication number: 20060068399
Abstract: The invention provides a multi-bead assay system for a protein based assay comprising at least two different beads. The first bead comprises protein and a protein stabilization matrix. The first bead forms a first solution when dissolved in liquid, and the first solution permits a first activity level for the assay. The second bead comprises a potentiation bead matrix that when dissolved in the first solution forms a second solution that potentiates the protein based assay to achieve a second activity level that is higher than the first activity level.

  • Publication number: 20050136181
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of uniformly dispersing and coating an additive on ceramic powder. The method includes adding ethenylbenzene into at least one aqueous solution or at least one sol of metal salt selected from a group consisting of nitrate, acetate, oxide, and carbonate of Mg, Y, Dy, Mn, Ba, and Ca, and adding (Ba(1-x)Cax)TiO3 ceramic powder (0?x?0.05) into a resulting solution or sol to preliminarily mix a resulting mixture, deagglomerating and mixing the preliminarily mixed mixture using a Beads Mill, spray drying the deagglomerated and mixed mixture, and calcining the dried mixture at 400 to 700° C. According to the method, an additive is uniformly coated and dispersed on dielectric ceramic powder, thus the sintering of fine particles constituting the ceramic powder is desirably controlled, and dispersibility of the additive on the ceramic powder is improved.

  • Publication number: 20050084185
Abstract: A synthetic resin bag is used for storing grain or animal feed. The bag includes an inner layer made of polypropylene textile woven in gauze, a coating layer attached to an inside surface of the inner layer, and an outer layer attached to an outside surface of the inner layer. Attaching between the layers is made by polypropylene resin applied thereto. The coating layer is made of high-density polyethylene film, and the outer layer is made of oriented polypropylene film mixed with non-slip material for raising coefficient of friction of the outer layer to 0.5 or more. Also, the outer layer has a printed inside layer. The bag allows inhibiting penetration of moisture in the air and preventing absorption or leakage of fat or oil in contents. Also, the bag is prevented from slipping and falling when stacked or conveyed.

  • Patent number: 6069450
Abstract: A method of driving DC plasma display panels according to a DC mode memory system is provided. According to the method, a compensation pulse for eliminating or reducing the contamination of a displayed image resulting from the application of a write pulse is applied to a position close to the write pulse. The method of the present invention has various advantages that the contamination of a displayed image generating in a direction normal to the display screen is eliminated or reduced; when the method is performed according to a DC mode memory system, the light-emission time can be concentrated to reduce the generation of false outlines so that the general image quality can be remarkably improved; and the electrical power required for the application of the maintenance pulse can be saved to thereby improve efficiency.
