  • Patent number: 10614039
Abstract: A lock manager configured for locking files is tested. As part of the test and based on a lock assignment plan, a process acquires locks on portions of the files. Based on a lock testing plan, a second process performs a lock verification for a portion of the locked portions. A result of this lock verification is compared to its expected result. Based on an updated lock assignment plan, the process transitions from the locks to other locks on other portions of the files. Based on an updated lock testing plan, the second process performs a second lock verification for a portion of the other locked portions. A result of this second lock verification is compared to its expected result. Based at least in part on the two comparisons, the lock manager is evaluated.

  • Patent number: 10578567
Abstract: Methods are described for quantifying an amount of natural rubber in a plant from a sample of the plant by obtaining a T1 spin-lattice relaxation rate or T2 spin-spin relaxation rate from a NMR apparatus, such as a low-field NMR apparatus operating at a magnetic field strength of 2 T or less. The NMR relaxation rates obtained from the plant sample are compared to reference relaxation data or plots. The plots can represent the weight percent polyisoprene versus T1 spin-lattice relaxation rate or T2 spin-spin relaxation rate. The reference relaxation data or plots are generated from testing the same type of plant as the sample.

  • Patent number: 10557918
Abstract: A method for establishing and controlling a mobile perimeter and for determining a geographic location of an emitting radio frequency (RF) emitter in a vicinity of the mobile perimeter includes at each of a plurality of RF sensors, receiving an RF transmission, processing the received RF transmission to produce RF signal data, and wirelessly transmitting the RF signal data to a central station. At the central station, a processor: executes a cross-correlation process to: compare characteristics of pairs of RF signal data; based on the compared characteristics, determine a time difference of arrival (TDOA) between RF transmissions received at each RF sensor of a pair of RF sensors, and repeats the cross-correlation process for each pair of RF sensors from which RF signal data are received. Using the TDOA values for two or more pairs of RF sensors, the processor determines a location estimate for the RF emitter.

  • Publication number: 20190355477
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosed technology can be used to implement methods in which a co-occurrence matrix of test types can be transformed through a process which includes sorting based on an eigenvector corresponding to a non-zero eigenvalue, and the transformed matrix can then be used to efficiently identify types of tests with high co-occurrence. Alternative approaches which use modified k-means clusters are also possible and could be applied in similar contexts as approaches using eigenvector sorting.
