Abstract: A plumbing bracket assembly has a plastic main bracket body and a telescoping bracket. The telescoping bracket runs through the main bracket body, and is able to extend to allow the bracket assembly to be secured to structure (such as studs) at both ends, over a range of distances between structure elements. The bracket body is initially able to slide along the telescoping bracket, for desired positioning, but may be locked in place using screws on the main bracket body. Hardware, such a hose clamp and multiple pipe clamps, is initially coupled to the main bracket body. The main bracket body may have a central depression for receiving a relatively large pipe run, and notches or depressions on opposite sides of the central depression, for receiving smaller pipe runs.

Abstract: A releasable buried layer for 3-D fabrication and methods of manufacturing is disclosed. The method includes forming an interposer structure which includes forming a carbon rich dielectric releasable layer over a wafer. The method further includes forming back end of the line (BEOL) layers over the carbon rich dielectric layer, including wiring layers and solder bumps. The method further includes bonding the solder bumps to a substrate using flip chip processes. The flip chip processes comprises reflowing the solder bumps and rapidly cooling down the solder bumps which releases the carbon rich dielectric releasable layer from the wafer.

Abstract: The invention provides methods and compositions for breeding pepper (Capsicum sp. such as Capsicum annuum) lines, including isogenic and nearly isogenic lines, displaying one or more mature fruit color(s) of interest. Predictive genetic markers and associated sequences and primers, associated with phenotypic diversity at the Ccs locus encoding Capsanthin-Capsorubin Synthase, and the Ze locus encoding Zeaxanthin Epoxidase are also provided, as well as methods for breeding pepper lines. Further provided are pepper plants, and plant parts including seeds, seed mixtures, fruit, and packaged fruit, which display mature fruit color(s) of interest.

Abstract: An object support includes a clamp, and a base for receiving the clamp, with the clamp securing an object, such as a pipe, to the base. The base may have a trapezoidal shape, with a rectangular bottom surface that is larger than a rectangular top surface. The top surface may have a series of holes for receiving legs of the clamp that are on opposite ends of a linking portion or body of the clamp. The legs are inserted into the base on opposite sides of the object to be clamped, with the clamps legs engaging the holes, and with the linking portion pinning the object to be clamped against the top surface of the base. The legs may have textured surfaces, for example having ridges or threads, that engage the holes to secure the legs to the base.

The method includes providing a secure device, where the secure device is protected by design against malicious software or malware and adapted to establish a connection to a server through a telecommunication network establishing a connection between the secure device and the server, receiving at the secure device, through the established connection, data pertaining to a file system identifying files which are at least partly stored outside the secure device, exposing at the secure device the file system to a user, based on the data received from the server, the file system navigable by the user.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes accessing data associated with one or more source logs. The data associated with the source logs corresponds to activity of a user at a particular time. The method also includes identifying the user and a device associated with the source logs; and mapping at least a portion of the data associated with the source logs to a user session associated with the user and the device. The user session corresponds to activity of the user while using the device. The information also includes providing data corresponding to a particular period of time based on the user session. The data corresponds to the particular period of time includes streaming content and geographic data captured during the particular period of time.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for enabling a switched digital video (SDV) client to intelligently generate and transmit reverse request in a SDV system. In this manner, reverse channel traffic is reduced. During rapid channel changes using the up and down keys on a remote control, the SDV client waits a predetermined amount of time before generating a reverse request that is subsequently transmitted upstream to a headend server. By way of example, changing broadcasted channels quickly will not generate a reverse request until the predetermined amount of time is over. In the event that a changed channel is an SDV session, a program select request is immediately generated in order to begin receiving the SDV session.

The nuts may be tightened to pull the sway brace into contact with the service pipe, or otherwise firmly clamping the sway brace and the service pipe together.

Abstract: A system, method and computer program product are provided. Initially, data is received from a remote source which is destined for a target. A portion of such data is discarded based on a predetermined set of rules utilizing a firewall. Further, the data is compared to a predetermined list of data associated with attacks utilizing an intrusion detection system. Based on the comparison, some of the data is marked as hostile. The data that is marked as hostile is then acted upon in order to prevent an attack.

Abstract: Methods and systems for distribution and management of streamable data are provided. Streamable data may be pushed out to one or more target client devices from a source device. Streamable data may be pulled from a source device by a client device. A device receiving a command to receive or transmit data may accept, dismiss, ignore, or deny the command. Annotation content may be generated in relation to the streamable data; such annotations may be transmitted concurrently with transmission of the related streamable data. Commands, transmissions, annotations, and metadata may be stored in an archive for later access or review. Data stored in the archive may be processed and converted to a different format in order to further analyze the data, determine statistics, and detect trends.

Abstract: An I-beam clamp, used for engaging the bottom flange of an I-beam or bar joist, includes a pair of threaded rods and a pair of brackets that can be moved relative to each other along the threaded rods. One of the brackets, a clamp bracket, has a set screw configured to engage a top surface of the I-beam flange, to hold the clamp in place once it is installed on the I-beam. The other of the brackets, a nut bracket, has half-threaded portions for selectively engaging the threaded rods, to hold the nut bracket in place relative to the threaded rods, and to disengage from the threaded rods, in order to allow positioning of the nut bracket along the threaded rods. The nut bracket may include a spring clip or other device to provide force to bias into engagement the threaded rods with the half-threaded portions.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides for systems and method for producing hybrid seed. In various embodiments, the disclosure provides a system for the high-throughput, nondestructive sampling of seeds. In another embodiment, a high-throughput, nondestructive method for producing hybrid seeds comprises removing a sample from a plurality of seeds in the population while preserving the germination viability of the seed and analyzing the sample for the presence or absence of one or more genetic markers indicative of a male-sterile gene.

The device (6) has a user interface (13), control logic (16) and a computer interface (11) for connecting the device (6) to a local user computer (5) for communication with the remote server (2) via a data communications network (3). The control logic is adapted to establish via the user computer (5) a mutually-authenticated connection for encrypted end-to-end communications between the device (6) and server (2). In a backup operation, the secret data items are received from the server (2) via this connection. The control logic interacts with the user via the user interface (13) to obtain user authorization to backup secret data items and, in response, stores the secret data items in memory (10).

Abstract: A clamp for engaging a structure flange includes a clamp body having a slot between a pair of body sections, a spring clip on the clamp body that extends into the slot, and a pair of screws threadedly engaged with the clamp body. The spring clip holds a structure flange in place when the clamp is placed on a structure flange, with the flange in the slot. This allows the installer to tighten the screws to engage the flange, without having to simultaneously hold the clamp in place. The screws may bite into the flange, providing a more secure coupling between the clamp and the structure flange. The clamp may be used to mount a variety of objects, such as sway braces for seismic bracing.
