  • Publication number: 20140040075
Abstract: A system may receive orders from disparate sources, each order specifying at least one item located in a physical storage area divided into subareas. The orders may be prioritized for desired processing sequence. The system may determine, beginning with high priority orders specifying at least two items for each order, a virtual order footprint that represents all of the subareas corresponding to the items in the order and form a plurality of virtual potential pick batches, each virtual potential pick batch comprising orders in a unique virtual order footprint. When a configurable limit is reached, the number of orders in each virtual potential pick batch is determined. The order counts are a factor in determining which of the virtual potential pick batches are to be released for processing by available work resources. All other non-selected virtual potential pick batches are deconstructed awaiting the future availability of work resources.

  • Publication number: 20130185990
Abstract: A composition for improving the combustion efficiency of an internal combustion engine. The composition includes a mixture of a hydrocarbon fuel and an organometallic soap selected from among several cerium-containing and ferric compounds. The cerium-containing compound or compounds increase the energy released during combustion of the fuel. The ferric compound or compounds coat an interior wall of a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine to increase the power output of the engine by reducing the accumulation of residues deposited on the interior wall which interfere with the combustion of fuel.

  • Patent number: 8361505
Abstract: An apparatus and method for the preparation and formation of a stable sub-colloidal-sized silver metal hydrosol in pure distilled water without the use of supporting or stabilizing proteins, carbohydrates, or similar types of ligands. The silver metal hydrosol is created by passing an alternating current, high-voltage arc discharge between two pure silver electrodes. The discharge arc passes from a silver wire suspended above the distilled water working fluid, first through the air, and then through the working fluid to a submerged silver plate, thereby completing the circuit. With the passage of the discharge arc through the silver wire, a quantity of the silver metal is deflagrated from the bulk surface of the metal and is vaporized into silver metal atoms, or aggregates of atoms, dispersed into the air. The vaporized silver metal atoms are rapidly quenched into separate atoms or aggregates upon making contact with the cooled working fluid.
