  • Patent number: 10344735
Abstract: An induction cleaning analyzing system includes a pressure sensor, an ignition event detector, and a control module. The pressure sensor measures airflow pressures of intake air and/or exhaust from cylinders in a common airflow pathway of a vehicle. The ignition event detector determines ignition events of the cylinders. The control module obtains pressure waveforms representative of the airflow pressures and divides the pressure waveforms into waveform segments. The control module associates different subsets of the waveform segments with different ones of the cylinders using the ignition events. The control module also identifies cyclic variations in the airflow pressures flowing in the common airflow pathway and caused by at least one of the cylinders by examining the waveform segments associated with the at least one of the cylinders.

  • Publication number: 20190167715
Abstract: In some embodiments, a system and/or method may inhibit and/or ameliorate proteinuria and related comorbidities in a subject. In some embodiments, proteinuria and/or Endothelial Erosion (EE) and related comorbidities may be inhibited and/or ameliorated by maximizing a subject's serum zeta potential. A subject's serum zeta potential may be maximized by administering pharmaceutical compositions which: optimize the negative electrical surface charges of a subject's blood cells, plasma proteins, and/or endothelial surface layer; optimize the composition of a subject's bloodstream (e.g., ionic strength and ion concentrations), and/or optimize the properties of the subject's bloodstream (e.g., serum pH).

  • Publication number: 20190142530
Abstract: Implementations relate to a foot controller. In some implementations, a controller includes a stationary portion and a cradle member configured to receive a foot of a user. The cradle member is moveable to a plurality of positions along paths, the positions including one or more of a left position, a right position, a front position, or a back position. One or more of the paths have a component direction along a left-right axis of the controller and one or more of the paths have a component direction along a forward-back axis of the controller. One or more sensors sense the cradle member at a particular position, output sensor signals indicative of the particular position, and cause activation of a selected function provided by a system based on the sensed particular position.

  • Patent number: 10229662
Abstract: Vocal musical performances may be captured and, in some cases or embodiments, pitch-corrected and/or processed in accord with a user selectable vocal effects schedule for mixing and rendering with backing tracks in ways that create compelling user experiences. In some cases, the vocal performances of individual users are captured on mobile devices in the context of a karaoke-style presentation of lyrics in correspondence with audible renderings of a backing track. Such performances can be pitch-corrected in real-time at the mobile device in accord with pitch correction settings. Vocal effects schedules may also be selectively applied to such performances. In these ways, even amateur user/performers with imperfect pitch are encouraged to take a shot at “stardom” and/or take part in a game play, social network or vocal achievement application architecture that facilitates musical collaboration on a global scale and/or, in some cases or embodiments, to initiate revenue generating in-application transactions.

  • Publication number: 20180332091
Abstract: According to some embodiments, systems, methods, apparatus, computer program code and means may receive data streams from remote third-party administrator computer servers. A back-end application computer server may receive a set of requests from a first third-party administrator computer server, each request being associated with a request value. The back-end application server may retrieve a first set of pre-determined rules and automatically apply them to the set of requests, resulting in an adjusted request value and an overall value. The back-end computer server may then automatically transmit a settlement instruction, including the overall value, to an electronic transaction system, and render a transaction activity report display via a remote computer device, associated with the first third-party administrator computer server, including information about the set of requests, the adjusted request value along with an indication of a reason for the adjustment, and the overall value.

  • Publication number: 20180251703
Abstract: The engine lubricating system can become contaminated with carbon deposits and sludge. Sludge is where the combustion by-products that have entered the oil base saturate this oil base, thus forming a thick carbon rich substance. Sludge is not wanted within the engine. Sludge and or carbon deposits in the motor oil cause problems. Such carbon deposits form in the motor oil from heat, pressure, and namely combustion gases that have leaked pasted the piston rings. Turpentine and terpenes, hereafter referred to as “terpenes”, have shown that these chemicals can breakdown carbon which has been deposited within the engine's oil base.

  • Publication number: 20180254503
Abstract: A fuel cell stack and a method of assembling a fuel cell stack includes compressing fuel cells along their stacking axis. A compression retention device made up of an enclosure may be used with one or more optional insertable shims to correct for any stack height variations. Significantly, the enclosure is formed to allow the stack to be loaded in compression by a press such that the cells that make up the stack are placed into and maintained in a substantially compressed state while the compression force is not imparted to the enclosure. By resolving any stack height variances while the cells of the stack are maintained in their substantially compressed state, assembly operations are simplified in that repeated compression and decompression of the stack is avoided while trying to ensure that the stack and enclosure are joined into their final assembly form.

  • Publication number: 20180246552
Abstract: Systems and methods that may be implemented to monitor and record (store) information related to environmental conditions, operating conditions and/or events to which a battery-powered information handling system has been exposed while the battery powered information handling system is not powered. In one embodiment this stored environmental, system operating and/or event information may be made available to one or more system programmable integrated circuits at a following system restart or operating system (OS) boot. Such stored information may be used, for example, to determine one or more actions during a subsequent system restart or OS reboot, and/or to better enable root cause analysis of no-POST (power on self-test) type failures.
