Abstract: A converged network device: receives a handover requirement from a first access device in a first network, where the handover requirement carries an identifier of a second access device in a second network or an identity of a tracking area served by the second access device; determines, based on the identifier of the second access device or the identity of the tracking area served by the second access device, that the second access device is managed by the converged network device; sends a handover request to the second access device, where the handover request is used to request the second access device to prepare a related resource for the terminal; sends a handover command to the first access device, where the handover command is used to instruct to hand over the terminal to the second access device; and receives a handover notification from the second access device.

Abstract: A method, a device, and a system for controlling tunnel identifier allocation are provided. The method includes: determining whether a type of a current procedure allows a Serving Gateway (SGW) to change a Tunnel Endpoint Identifier (TED) and/or an Internet Protocol (IP) address; and sending an modify bearer request message to the SGW, in which the modify bearer request message is used for notifying the SGW of whether the SGW is allowed to change the TED and/or the IP address. The loss of service data packets of a user or the service interruption caused by that the SGW modifies the TED and/or the IP address is avoided.

Abstract: A method for accessing a local network includes: subscribing, by a network device, to service area change information of user equipment, where the service area change information of the user equipment indicates that the user equipment enters or leaves a service area of the local network; receiving, by the network device, the service area change information of the user equipment; and performing, based on the received service area change information, policy control for the user equipment accessing or leaving the local network. In this way, access to the local network is accurately controlled, and is not affected by wireless network planning and adjustment, which greatly enhances user experience in use of the local network.

A first device obtains first information of user equipment, where the first information of the user equipment is used to indicate an area in which the user equipment subscribes to a service, and the first device determines gateway information corresponding to a first domain name, where the first domain name includes the first information of the user equipment. The first domain name includes the first information of the user equipment, and the first information is used to indicate the area in which the user equipment subscribes to the service. Compared with a method in which a number segment is used to generate a domain name, this reduces a quantity of domain names that need to be configured and maintained, and reduces maintenance costs of an operator.

Abstract: The present application relates to the field of communications technologies, and provides a service transmission method, a device, and a system, to resolve a problem that a service of user equipment is interrupted when a user plane network element is faulty.
