  • Publication number: 20200070493
Abstract: An extruder is fitted with a connector for coupling and decoupling with a filament feed source, such as a filament tube. When connected, the extruder and filament tube are aligned to define a feed path for a filament. A tool rack includes a plurality of filament tubes secured within respective openings. The tool rack may facilitate coupling and decoupling operations between the extruder and filament sources. For example, the tool rack may define an insertion path that engages a filament tube during insertion, and that secures the filament tube against an excursion from the insertion path. The extruder may disengage the coupling by initiating a motion along the insertion path and then moving off of the insertion path to decouple the filament tube and the extruder. In this manner, filaments may be swapped through engaging and disengaging the extruder with different filament tubes on the tool rack.

  • Publication number: 20200024192
Abstract: Examples of novel self-repairing cement-polymer composites and processes of making and using are detailed that address various problems in prior art cements. These matrices, compositions and materials that are more mechanically robust, thermally stable and chemically resistant and demonstrate better bonding to various structures and materials, than other self-healing cements known in the prior art. When in place under preselected conditions (the formulation of the slurry can be modified for optimal effectiveness under various conditions) the organic, cross linking and cement forming portions within the slurry form interconnecting chemical bonds and cures to form a self-repairing and self-re-adhering cement polymer composite matrix in the receiving location.

  • Publication number: 20200001590
Abstract: An extruder of a three-dimensional printer may be coupled with one or more filament tubes, each filament tube having its own supply of filament. The extruder may include a drive gear rotatable in a first direction to advance a filament from a filament tube toward at least one extrusion opening defined by the extruder and rotatable in a second direction, opposite the first direction, to advance another filament from a different filament tube toward the at least one extrusion opening defined by the extruder. Also, as one filament is advanced by the drive gear, another filament may be retracted by the drive gear to improve the switching of filaments in a three-dimensional printing process. The extruder may work in conjunction with a filament supply-side drive system that feeds filament into one or more filament tubes, reducing a pull force exerted by the drive gear of the extruder.

  • Patent number: 10515639
Abstract: Various embodiments of the technology described herein alleviate the need to specifically request enrollment information from a user to enroll the user in a voice biometric authentication program. The system can receive voice data from a user device including audio data of a user speaking a word or phrase. The system can determine the word or phrase from the voice data to determine whether the word or phrase is in a set of available words or phrases and whether the word or phrase is usable for voice authentication of the user. In response to the word or phrase being in the set of available words or phrases and being usable for the voice authentication of the user, the system can perform authentication based on the voice data without requiring further interaction from the user.

  • Patent number: 10096353
Abstract: A refresh command is communicated to a memory device to initiate an interruptible refresh which contains multiple segment refreshes separated by interrupt boundaries. A command is communicated to the memory device before execution of a segment refresh and the segment refresh is delayed at an interrupt boundary. Alternatively, a first number of commands in a queue is determined. A first number of segment refreshes to execute is determined based on the first number of commands. The first number of segment refreshes to execute is communicated to the memory device to cause execution of the first number of segment refreshes. A second number of commands in the queue is determined. A second number of segment refreshes to execute is determined based on the second number of commands. The second number of segment refreshes to execute is communicated to the memory device to cause execution of the second number of segment refreshes.

  • Patent number: 10013983
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for authenticating a user using a voice biometric program are described. In some embodiments, first voice data from a user device is received. The first voice data can include audio data of a user speaking a first voice command, and the system can determine that the first voice command includes a voice command for which voice recognition can be performed. In response, the system can initiate a passive authentication scheme for selectively enabling access to secure data in response to the first voice command. The passive authentication scheme can provide the first voice data for voice recognition and receive an indication that the user is authenticated based on the voice recognition and, in response, allow access to a back-end system.
