  • Publication number: 20220197982
Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure are directed to implementing hardware-based obfuscation of digital data. For example, some aspects of this disclosure relate to a method, including performing a capture operation that loads a plurality of primary input (PI) bits into corresponding shift registers of a plurality of test data registers (TDRs) disposed on one or more digital semiconductor devices and configured to store a plurality of secret information bits. The method further includes performing a sequence of shift operations on the plurality of TDRs to obtain a plurality of output bits. The method further includes applying, by an authenticating processor, a derivation function on the plurality of output bits to extract the plurality of secret information bits thereby authenticating the one or more digital semiconductor devices.

  • Publication number: 20220171794
Abstract: Techniques for implementing user interfaces, systems, and processes for multidimensional clustering and analysis are described herein. In one aspect, an application or cloud service receives a request to cluster a set of records where the request identifies a first set of one or more dimensions to use for clustering and a second set of one or more dimensions to analyze for correlation patterns. Responsive to receiving the request to cluster the set of records, the system generates clusters based at least in part on variances in the first set of one or more dimensions, wherein each cluster includes at least one record from the set of records. The system may generate, for each respective cluster, an analytic result that identifies how strongly the second set of one or more dimensions correlate to the respective cluster. The system may present the clusters and analytic results for further processing.

  • Publication number: 20220152676
Abstract: Embossing of metallic glass supercooled liquids into templates is emerging as a precision net-shaping and surface patterning technique for metals. Here, the effect of thickness of metallic glass on template-based embossing is disclosed. The results show that the existing embossing theory developed for thick samples fails to describe the process when the thickness of metallic glass becomes comparable to the template cavity diameter. Increased flow resistance at the cavity entrance results in viscous buckling of supercooled liquid instead of filling. A new phenomenological equation is proposed to describe the thickness dependent filling of template cavities. The buckling phenomenon is analyzed based on the folding model of multilayer viscous media. Controlled buckling can be harnessed in fabrication of metal microtubes, which are desirable for many emerging applications.

  • Patent number: 11336998
Abstract: Techniques for estimating a direction of arrival of sound in an environment are discussed. First and second audio data are received from a first pair of audio sensors associated with a vehicle. A first region of ambiguity associated with the first pair of audio sensors is determined based on the first and second audio data. Third and fourth audio data are received from a second pair of audio sensors. A second region of ambiguity associated with the second pair of audio sensors is determined based on the third and fourth audio data. The regions of ambiguity can be further based on confidence levels associated with sensor or audio data. An area of intersection of the first region of ambiguity and the second region of ambiguity can be determined. A direction of arrival of an audio event can be determined based on the area of intersection.

  • Patent number: 11322019
Abstract: Techniques for determining a direction of arrival of an emergency are discussed. A plurality of audio sensors of a vehicle can receive audio data associated with the vehicle. An audio sensor pair can be selected from the plurality of audio sensors to generate audio data representing sound in an environment of the vehicle. An angular spectrum associated with the audio sensor pair can be determined based on the audio data. A feature associated with the audio data can be determined based on the angular spectrum and/or the audio data itself. A direction of arrival (DoA) value associated with the sound may be determined based on the feature using a machine learned model. An emergency sound (e.g., a siren) can be detected in the audio data and a direction associated with the emergency relative to the vehicle can be determined based on the feature and the DoA value.

  • Patent number: 11258760
Abstract: A method and system are disclosed. A first service engine among a plurality of service engines detects a traffic violation of a web application policy for an instantiation of a virtual service on the first service engine. The service engines maintain corresponding instances of a shared state of policy violations for the web application policy. In response to detecting the traffic violation, a first instance of the shared state on the first service engine is updated. The first service engine broadcasts the updated first instance of the shared state. Remaining service engines, which have instantiations of the virtual service, update their instances of the shared state in response to receiving the updated first instance. The instances of the shared state are aggregated to obtain an aggregated shared state. It is detected whether the aggregated shared state triggers an application policy rule for the web application policy.
