  • Publication number: 20060183259
Abstract: A substrate is provided. The substrate includes a plurality of devices disposed in the substrate, a plurality of contact pads disposed on a surface of the substrate and electrically connected to the devices, and a surface dielectric layer positioned on the surface of the substrate. Thereafter, a surface treatment process including at least a plasma etching process is performed. Subsequently, at least a plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) process is performed to form a dielectric layer on a surface dielectric layer. The PECVD process is performed in a high frequency/low frequency alternating manner. Following that, a masking pattern on the dielectric layer is formed, and an anisotropic etching process is carried out to form a plurality of openings corresponding to the contact pads in the dielectric layer. The openings expose the contact pads, and each opening has an outwardly-inclined sidewall.

  • Publication number: 20060183312
Abstract: A substrate including a plurality of contact pads is provided. Thereafter, a photosensitive dielectric layer is formed on a surface of the substrate. Subsequently, an exposure-and-development process is preformed to partially remove the photosensitive dielectric layer so as to form a plurality of openings. The openings at least expose the contact pads, and the sidewall of each opening is inclined outwardly.

  • Publication number: 20060092416
Abstract: The in-situ micro-spectro-sensor determines whether a leakage occurs during the plasma process by taking the advantage of detecting the target leak in gas specifically composed of 99% of nitrogen and oxygen which are four to one in ratio. Warning signals with light and sound are available. The main part is compact, small and set up is quite convenient. Non-invasive in-situ detection has no effect on in-line process, but can indeed breakthrough the in-situ leak detection barrier for plasma-based process facilities of high-tech industries such as semiconductors and opto-electronics.

  • Patent number: 6633921
Abstract: An intelligent network connecting apparatus for serving as a terminal of network includes a female Ethernet connector, female USB connector, converting means, and auto-detecting switch. While a computer couples with the female Ethernet connector, signals would directly communicate between the computer and a remote network. When the computer couples with the female USB connector, the auto-detecting switch would automatically couple the converting means with the network. Meanwhile, the signals passing through the female USB connector would be sent to the converting means and transformed in forms of between USB standard and Ethernet standard, thereby ensuring the signals communicating between the computer and the network.

  • Patent number: 6270062
Abstract: A fluids contacting and dispersing apparatus for a fluids contacting column is provided comprising a perforated cover plate, means for positioning the cover plate over a tray opening and securing it within the opening. Deflecting members span each perforation in the cover plate to prevent bleed fluid from shooting straight up and hitting the underside of the above tray. The deflecting members also provide a surface for dispersing lighter, finer bleed fluid flowing upwardly through the perforations over a central zone of the cover plate and into heavier fluid flowing across the tray in the path of the cover plate. The deflecting members direct lighter fluid into what would otherwise be a stagnant central zone of the cover plate. The cover plate is positioned over the tray opening by means of legs which are integral with the cover plate and are slidable within the tray opening.

  • Patent number: 6053485
Abstract: An apparatus and method for attaching a dispersion valve to a fractionation tray surface. The valve is inserted into a fractionation tray perforation. At least two legs extend downward from a cover plate with a larger area than the perforation. Each of the legs is positioned at or near the peripheral inner surface of the tray perforation. Each leg has an outwardly projecting hooking element. As the valve is inserted into the fractionation tray perforation by pressure applied to the cover plate, the hooking elements bend inward slightly to a smaller circumferential plane than that of the tray perforation. After insertion, the flexible legs spring back to their original outwardly projection. The tip of each hooking element then contacts the bottom surface of the fractionation tray to define and limit the upward motion of the valve. At least one downward projection from the cover plate defines and limits the downward motion of the valve into the tray perforation.
