    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a downlink visible light communication (VLC) transmission. The UE may receive, from the base station, a downlink New Radio (NR) radio frequency (RF)-based communication (RFC) transmission, wherein a frame structure associated with the downlink VLC transmission is asynchronous with a frame structure associated with the downlink NR RFC transmission. The UE may transmit, to the base station via an uplink RF transmission based at least in part on a lack of support for an uplink VLC transmission at the UE, acknowledgement or negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) feedback associated with one or more of the downlink VLC transmission or the downlink NR RFC transmission. The trigger command includes a target hash value and one or more rules for selecting preambles. The method also includes selecting, based on the trigger command, one or more random access channel (RACH) occasions (RO) for potential preamble transmission. The method further includes calculating at least one hash value in response to the trigger command based on computational resources of the UE. The method also includes transmitting a preamble on the at least one selected RO based on the at least one hash value and the target hash value.

The second opening corresponds to the first opening. A gap is generated by the second opening and the component. A method for manufacturing the package circuit structure is also disclosed.

A network entity (e.g., a base station or reader) may transmit an initial access trigger message (e.g., modulating a continuous wave transmission using amplitude shift keying (ASK)), and the trigger message may include an indication of a type of passive user equipment (PUE) or a PUE use case (e.g., high priority/latency-critical PUEs or low priority/latency non-critical PUEs). A receiving PUE may harvest energy from the initial access trigger message for transmitting an initial access response message including an identifier for the receiving PUE. The receiving PUE may transmit the initial access response message (e.g., on one or more initial access resources) using the harvested energy if the trigger message indicates the PUE's type of PUE or PUE use case. In some examples, the receiving PUE may ignore triggers for different types of PUEs or PUE use cases.

A frame, scheduling instances, scheduling period etc. may include a set of downlink subframes and a set of uplink subframes. At least one control message transmitted in a downlink subframe may schedule a set of data messages in the downlink subframes of the frame. The downlink subframe may also include data messages scheduled by a control message of a previous frame. Further, feedback timings for data messages of the frame may be determined based on the corresponding control messages (e.g., from the current frame and the previous frame). Feedback responses corresponding to the data messages may be transmitted in a bundled manner in the set of uplink subframes. Using this cross-frame scheduling technique, the resources of a frame may be efficiently utilized.
