  • Publication number: 20140166449
Abstract: The present invention relates to a forward/backward rotation switching mechanism, comprising: a cover, a turntable, a terminal-fixing body, a first contact terminal, and a second contact terminal. In the present invention, a plurality of dust-off trenches are especially formed on the peripheral edges of the turntable for preventing from the dust accumulation between the turntable and a cover; therefore, even if the forward/backward rotation switching mechanism is used in an environment having a lot of dust, the turntable can still be turned around because the dust is ruled out by the dust-off trenches.

  • Publication number: 20140109000
Abstract: A method for generating multiple windows frames, an electronic device thereof, and a computer program product using the method are provided. In the present method, first, a touch trajectory generated by continuously touching a touch panel of the electronic device is detected, wherein the center of the touch panel is a display area, and a non-display area surrounds the display area. Then, whether the touch trajectory is started from one side of the non-display area and passed through the display area to be extended to another side of the non-display area is determined. If so, the display area is split according to the touch trajectory to display at least two windows frames. As a result, an intuitional and convenient method for generating multiple windows frames in the display area is provided, and the operation of the electronic device is made very convenient.

  • Patent number: 8648956
Abstract: An image capture device and a dustproofing method thereof. The image capture device comprises a switch module, optical-component adaptor module, optical-component adaptor detecting module, mask module, power detecting module and controlling module. The switch module switches the image capture device on or off and produces an on signal or off signal correspondingly. The optical-component adaptor detecting module detects whether a removable optical-component is connected with the optical-component adaptor module and produces a detecting signal. The power detecting module measures the residual power in the image capture device and produces a residual power signal. The controlling module, according to the on signal, off signal, detecting signal and the residual power signal controls the mask module to shield or un-shield the photosensor. Therefore, when the image capture device is powered off or during replacement of removable optical-components, the mask module shields the photosensor to render it dustproof.

  • Patent number: 8643751
Abstract: A method for detecting dead pixels obtains a downsampling set formed by a plurality of sample pixels by downsampling a to-be-tested image, and computes a moving average for each sample pixel to determine whether the sample pixel is a dead pixel candidate. If so, all pixels in a neighborhood of the dead pixel candidate are determined as to-be-detected pixels. For each to-be-detected pixel, a compensated value and a weighted average under a mask are estimated. A hypothetic dead pixel value is obtained by comparing an original pixel value of each to-be-detected pixel and the moving average of the dead pixel candidate. Whether the to-be-detected pixel is a dead pixel is determined by using the original pixel value, the compensated value, the weighted average and the hypothetic dead pixel value.

  • Patent number: 8559280
Abstract: The invention provides a method for data recording of an optical disk drive. First, raw data is encoded to obtain a plurality of recording units of encoded data to be stored in a memory. The encoded data stored in the memory is then recorded to an optical disk. A predetermined number of recording units of the encoded data is then reserved in the memory as reserved data without being recorded onto the optical disk. The recorded data read from the optical disk is then compared to the corresponding encoded data stored in the memory to verify correctness of the recorded data. The reserved data is then recorded to the optical disk after correctness verification of the recorded data is completed. Finally, the aforementioned steps are repeated until there is no more raw data left as a source for encoding.
