  • Patent number: 11621974
Abstract: In an embodiment, a security auditing component obtains a solution set that is based upon a security audit of an enterprise network, the solution set characterizing a set of solutions associated with a set of security issues associated with one or more assets of the enterprise network, detects that the solution set can be condensed into a condensed solution set that mitigates the set of security issues to the same degree as the solution set, the detection being based at least in part upon (i) one or more rules applied to one or more solution texts and/or (ii) asset-specific metadata and/or (iii) static metadata, and condenses, based on the detecting, the solution set into the condensed solution set by combining two or more subsets of related solutions and/or filtering the solution set to remove one or more subsets of redundant or superseded solutions.

  • Publication number: 20230083434
Abstract: A microfluidic sealing valve 1 comprises a primary channel 2, a valve channel 4, and a geometry that permits liquid in the primary channel 2 to flow into the valve channel 4 through an inlet 5. Liquid in the primary channel 2 is inhibited from flowing through a first port 8 into the void volume 7. A meniscus 9 moved by a flow of liquid in the primary channel 2 is restrained at the first port 8. A flow of liquid through the primary channel 2 generates a capillary force that causes the flow of liquid to flow into the valve channel 4. A capillary force generated by the flow of liquid through the valve channel 4 causes the meniscus 9 to expand from the first port 8 into the primary channel, to inhibit flow of liquid in the primary channel 2 past the first port 8.

  • Publication number: 20230056981
Abstract: A system and method are provided for controlling a power generating subsystem connected to a power generating system at a point of interconnection (POI). A subsystem controller receives a feedback first data signal corresponding to an electrical parameter for reactive power or power factor contributed by the power generating subsystem to the POI, the first data signal having a first signal fidelity. The subsystem controller receives a second data signal indicative of the electrical parameter measured at the power generating subsystem and having a second signal fidelity higher than the first signal fidelity. The subsystem controller generates a correlation value between the first and second data signals and applies the correlation value to modify a setpoint value for the electrical parameter at the POI. The subsystem controller uses the modified setpoint value and the second data signal to generate a setpoint command for the power generating subsystem.

  • Patent number: 11574020
Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying content for an input query are presented. A mapping model is trained to map elements of an input query embedding vector for a received query into one or more elements of a destination embedding vector. In response to receiving an input query, an input query embedding vector is generated that projects into an input query embedding space. The input query embedding vector is processed by the mapping model to map the input query embedding vector into one or more elements of a destination embedding vector in a destination embedding space, resulting in a partial destination embedding vector. Items of a corpus of content are projected into the destination embedding space and the partial destination embedding vector is also projected into the destination embedding space. A similarity measure determines the most-similar items to the partial destination embedding vector and at least some of the most-similar items are returned in response to the input query.

  • Patent number: 11544317
Abstract: Systems and methods for responding to a subscriber's text-based request for content items are presented. In response to a request from a subscriber, word pieces are generated from the text-based terms of the request. A request embedding vector of the word pieces is obtained from a trained machine learning model. Using the request embedding vector, a set of content items, from a corpus of content items, is identified. At least some content items of the set of content items are returned to the subscriber in response to the text-based request for content items.

  • Patent number: 11528840
Abstract: A system to meter multiple agricultural products according to an independently prescribed rate for each in a variable-ratio blend of the agricultural products from a single opener in a plurality of such systems and openers across an applicator such as a drill. Bulk storage compartments associated with the applicator deliver multiple agricultural products to metering assemblies mounted in clusters or pods across the applicator. The agricultural products are fed from the metering assemblies, via a flow re-director, into a manifold, and then into a corresponding single opener having conduits to transport the agricultural product into the soil. Controllers independently regulate metering by the metering assemblies. The flow re-director and manifold provide blending of combinations of the agricultural products for each opener according to a field prescription.

  • Publication number: 20220374474
Abstract: Systems and methods for recommending content to an online service subscriber are presented. For each subscriber, content items that were the subject of the subscriber's prior interactions are projected, via associated embedding vectors, into a content item embedding space. The content items, via their projections into the content item embedding space, are clustered to form a plurality of interest clusters for the subscriber. A representative embedding vector is determined for each interest cluster, and a plurality of these embedding vectors are stored as the representative embedding vectors for the subscriber. The online service, in response to a request for recommended content for a subscriber, selects a first representative embedding vector associated with the subscriber and identifies a new content item from a corpus of content items according to a similarity measure between the first representative embedding vector and an embedding vector associated with the new content item.
