  • Publication number: 20210294973
Abstract: A system identifies a first text fragment as being under evaluation, wherein the first text is in at least a first document being compared to a second document using a first semantic model. The system compares the first text fragment to one or more text fragments of the second document. The system identifies top-k text fragments in the second document that are most similar to the first text fragment based on processing using the first semantic model. The system presents a user, via a graphical user interface (GUI), the top-k text fragments in visual proximity to the first text fragment.

  • Publication number: 20210294979
Abstract: Text blocks are semantically compared, and a semantic score is provided to a user. The semantic score is based on application of a machine learning model trained on a text corpus. One or both of the two text blocks may have one or more words that do not appear in the training text corpus (skip-words). Skip-words are used, rather than discarded, to adjust the semantic score via, for example, a penalization function. The user provides feedback about the accuracy of the adjusted semantic score, and the feedback is used to perform supervised learning model.

  • Publication number: 20210227817
Abstract: A real time fish movement and location guide system and method provides an output to an angler of a real time adjusted active fish depth range based upon a set of environmental conditions. Input data relating to the environmental conditions is received from the angler through a user interface and from Internet sources. In some embodiments, the input data is also used to provide outputs indicating weather fronts that will affect movement and location, and to provide lure recommendations and notifications that a change in lure is appropriate in view of changing conditions.

  • Publication number: 20210232839
Abstract: A system is provided for file capture and in-line error correction. The system comprises: a controller configured to capture and process a file during a file capture sequence comprising one or more capture events, the controller being configured to: capture a file using a file capture device associated with a user device, wherein capturing the file comprises receiving a file image and a user input data field associated with the file; identify, using an in-line file analysis module, an error with a capture event during the file capture sequence, wherein the error is a discrepancy identified between the user input data field and an image-derived data field; correct the error in the file before the file capture sequence is completed and the file is exported; and export the file, wherein the file capture sequence is completed.

  • Publication number: 20210220601
Abstract: A humidification system comprises a first sensor and a second sensor. The first and second sensors are adapted to sense flow characteristics within the system. The first and second sensors are isolated from the flow by barriers formed by respective first and second sealing members. The sealing members extend through apertures formed in the system and have a portion that contacts the sensing elements of the respective first and second sensors. A cartridge can hold the sensors and provide repeatable penetration depths into a flow passage of the system. A medical tube has a composite structure made of two or more distinct components that are spirally wound to form an elongate tube. One component can be a spirally wound elongate hollow body; the other component can be an elongate structural component spirally wound between turns of the spirally wound hollow body.

  • Patent number: 11058844
Abstract: The disclosure relates to medical tubes and methods of manufacturing medical tubes. The tube may be a composite structure made of two or more distinct components that are spirally wound to form an elongate tube. For example, one of the components may be a spirally wound elongate hollow body, and the other component may be an elongate structural component also spirally wound between turns of the spirally wound hollow body The tube need not be made from distinct components, however. For instance, an elongate hollow body formed (e.g., extruded) from a single material may be spirally wound to form an elongate tube. The elongate hollow body itself may in transverse cross-section have a thin wall portion and a relatively thicker or more rigid reinforcement portion. The tubes can be incorporated into a variety of medical circuits or may be employed for other medical uses.

  • Patent number: 11019225
Abstract: Systems for controlling scanning devices and capturing image data are provided. In some examples, image data may be received by a computing platform. The image data may be received via a first network and from another computing platform in wired communication with a scanning device. In some arrangements, image quality analysis may be performed and data may be extracted from the image data. The results of the data analysis, as well as the image data and extracted data may be transmitted, via a second network different from the first network, to an associate computing device. In some examples, input received by the associate computing device may be transmitted to the computing platform indicating whether the image is approved or rejected for further processing. If the image is approved, the image data and extracted data may be transmitted, via the second network, to another device for matching and further processing functions.

  • Publication number: 20210061566
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for efficiently fulfilling product orders corresponding are described. Order items are divided into those which are to be automatically picked using an automated pick cell including a loader, such as a robotic arm, storage buffers and an apparatus for transferring the automatically picked items onto a robotic cart. The manually picked items are picked by a human picker guided by the robotic cart. The manual pick can occur before or after the automatic pick of items. In some embodiments whether items are to be automatically picked before or after the manual pick portion of an order depends on which ordering will allow for packing of the items corresponding to an order into the least number of receptacles, e.g., totes which are transported by the robotic pick carts.

  • Publication number: 20210022569
Abstract: A toilet seat cover can be adhered to a toilet seat to help a child use the toilet. In embodiments, a toilet seat cover includes a plastic or other thin, flexible sheet having a central void defined therethrough and an adhesive coating on one surface. That surface may be temporarily adhered to a toilet seat to maintain the toilet seat cover in position. The child may then sit on the toilet seat cover to relieve himself, with the toilet seat cover screening the child from touching unsanitary surfaces of the toilet seat or toilet and suspending the child over the toilet bowl. Once the child has finished and is off the toilet seat cover, the cover may be removed by rolling or folding.

  • Patent number: 10769111
Abstract: Cassandra SSTable data is transformed to provide data rows that are a consistent size such that data in each row has a length that is contained within a selected fixed sized kilobyte segment for deduplication. Tables of a Cassandra cluster node are translated in parallel to JSON format using Cassandra SSTableDump and the table rows are parsed to provide data rows corresponding to the data in each table row. Each row of data is padded with a predictable pattern of bits such that the data row has a length corresponding to the selected fixed segment size and has boundary locations that correspond to multiple of the selected segment size. Since each row of data starts on a segment boundary, duplicate rows of data will be identified wherever they move within a table.

  • Patent number: 10731696
Abstract: A wearable lightweight fire fighter's personal escape system and method includes a rope, having a distal and proximal end, organized in parallel segments disposed in an inner pouch. The inner pouch is entirely contained in an outer pouch that is appointed to be removably attached to a belt or harness, worn by a fire fighter. The proximal end of the rope exits through an opening in the inner pouch and outer pouch and is attached directly to a lightweight hook, or optionally enters a belay device. The hook has a sharp point for creating a purchase point on soft surfaces, a hook opening having sufficient diameter to surround radiators, steam pipe and the like, and capture rope that surrounds substantial objects. The hook has a central opening appointed for holding a firefighting tool to aid in creating a substantial object. The fire fighter escapes by creating a purchase point and repelling at a high speed or at a controlled speed by adjusting belay friction.

  • Patent number: 10652370
Abstract: An image item processing engine for image item exchange may receive an image item data packet including two image items, each including a digital image documenting an action for a recipient institution and associated metadata. The metadata may identify the image item sender and a country associated with an image item, the packet originator, or the recipient institution, at least one country associated with the second image item being different than a country associated with the first image item. The engine may apply sorting rules to determine item types for the first and second image items based on their metadata, determine a recipient institution for the packet based on the item types, assemble a data transfer packet including the digital images and metadata included in the first and second image items, and provide the data transfer packet to a transfer packet routing service for routing to the selected recipient institution.
