  • Publication number: 20140059420
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for dynamically appending a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) fragment identifier to a Uniform Resource Locator (URL). A web browser on a client device is displaying a webpage, and is accessing the HyperText Markup Language (HTML) coding for the webpage. HTML identification attributes are detected for the content that is being rendered within the web browser. A URI fragment identifier corresponding to the HTML identification attribute that is being rendered at the top of the web browser window is determined and is appended to the end of the URL of the webpage that is displayed in the URL box of the web browser. In an embodiment, the detection of the content that is being rendered at the top of the web browser window occurs responsive to a command to scroll to a new section of the webpage.

  • Publication number: 20140013620
Abstract: In certain embodiments there is provided a connection system having at least one male engagement component configured to interact with a female engagement component. The female engagement component is formed of a material that, when pressure is applied, enables the at least one male engagement component to imprint into the material so that a closed connection may be formed to lock the positioning of the two components. The material is also configured to flow/float around the male engagement component so that the position of the male engagement component with respect to the female engagement component may be adjusted while the two engagement components are in contact and the male engagement component is not imprinted within the female engagement component.

  • Publication number: 20130311440
Abstract: A computer implemented method, system and computer program product for providing search results in response to a search query includes receiving, by a processor, a search query from a user. A processor detects that the search query includes a request for a comparison-mode query and the processor automatically detects terms in the search query indicating that the query includes components. The comparison-mode query is decomposed into respective, individual component queries for the respective components and the query is performed as respective component queries for the respective, individual components. This includes finding an individual result for each respective, individual component from a single, remote website. The user is presented the individual results of the component queries, which includes aligning the results side-by-side and vertically, so that although the results are for respective, individual components, the alignment tends to help the user compare the individual results.

  • Publication number: 20130119955
Abstract: A SEPIC converter with over-voltage protection includes a high-side inductor that connects a node Vw to a node Vx. The node Vx is connected, in turn to ground by a power MOSFET. The node Vx is also connected to a node Vy by a first capacitor. The node Vy is connected to ground by a low-side inductor. A rectifier diode further connects the node Vy and a node Vout and an output capacitor is connected between the node Vout and ground. A PWM control circuit is connected to drive the power MOSFET. An over-voltage protection MOSFET connects an input supply to the PWM control circuit and the node Vw. A comparator monitors the voltage of the input supply. If that voltage exceeds a predetermined value Vref the comparator output causes the over-voltage protection MOSFET to disconnect the node Vw and the PWM control circuit from the input supply.

  • Publication number: 20130080669
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for dynamically determining a primary or slave assignment based on an order of cable connection between two devices are provided. Embodiments include detecting, by a first device, insertion of one end of a cable into a port of the first device; determining, by the first device, whether a power signal is received from the cable at the port of the first device; if the power signal is received, performing, by the first device, a data transfer operation over the cable as a slave device to a second device that is coupled to the other end of the cable; and if the power signal is not received, performing, by the first device, a data transfer operation over the cable as a primary device to the second device that is coupled to the other end of the cable.

  • Patent number: 7836620
Abstract: Animated printed media (e.g., greeting cards, books, etc.) are disclosed herein. An animated printed medium according to one embodiment includes two pages that define a pocket therebetween. At least one of the pages has a window with a plurality of spaced apart transparent sections, and a pushsleeve is coupled to an element that is rotatable relative to the two pages. The pushsleeve extends in the pocket and has a coded image positioned to move beneath the window. A fold line is between the pushsleeve and the element to allow the pushsleeve to rotate relative to the element. The pushsleeve is movable between a first position where the element is between the fold line and the window and a second position where the fold line is between the element and the window. Movement of the pushsleeve between the first and second positions causes the coded image to move beneath the window.
