  • Publication number: 20260111680
Abstract: Methods and systems for managing functions calls by a large language model are described. A generated message is received from a generative language model, based on an input message in an ongoing conversation, the generated message indicating a function call related to the input message. The function is executed using the function call. A function response is received from the executed function. An output message is provided to the ongoing conversation based on the function response, wherein the providing of the output message bypasses the generative language model.

  • Patent number: 12424342
Abstract: Embodiments are provided relating to the exchange of devices or assemblies holding targets used in a beam system. With these embodiments a used target can be rapidly and safely replaced with a new target to permit continued operation in a clinical or other environment. Also provided are embodiments of valves having relatively lower profiles that facilitate engagement and disengagement of beamline sections for access to the target device or assembly. All or a portion of the valve can be part of the target assembly. Also provided are embodiments of storage containers for storing a volatile object, such as an object comprising a composition sensitive to atmospheric air and/or an object that is radioactive. The storage container can include a two-part shell case assembly configured for housing a volatile object between the two parts, which engage one another to form an air-tight seal therebetween.

  • Patent number: 12177040
Abstract: Embodiments for wirelessly programming a control system of a machine, such as a vehicle, are provided. As machines typically include an intricate collection of electronic devices that communicate to one another via a complex network, the ability to reliably program such devices over a wireless connection is extremely unreliable due to network limitations or requirements, such as defined communication protocols or standards. Embodiments relate to a machine interfacing device that can wirelessly communicate with a client device that serves as both a diagnostics and programming interface. The machine interfacing device, physically coupled to the control system, can independently convert and intelligently manage communications to and from electronic devices of the machine control system.

  • Publication number: 20240185173
Abstract: There is provided a system and method for automated coordination of pickup and delivery of laundry services for laundering articles at a self-service laundromat. The method includes receiving a service request from a client terminal, the service request including a laundry pickup address and a laundry delivery address; determining a delivery person to respond to the service request; directing the delivery person to pickup the articles to be laundered; receiving a status from a laundry machine terminal associated with a laundry machine subsequent to the delivery person loading the articles to be laundered into the laundry machine; directing the delivery person to collect the laundered articles by communicating the status of the laundry cleaning to the delivery personnel terminal when the status indicates the cleaning is complete; and directing the delivery person to deliver the laundered articles.

  • Publication number: 20240022496
Abstract: A method includes obtaining, from a plurality of first devices in a first time zone, data associated with hot-prefixes requested at one or more first devices of the plurality of first devices during a first time interval. The hot-prefixes are associated with network addresses that are frequently requested during the first time interval. The method further includes predicting, based on the data associated with the hot-prefixes, prefixes that will become hot-prefixes during a second time interval in a second time zone to determine predicted hot-prefixes, and transmitting an indication of the predicted hot-prefixes to a plurality of second devices configured to provide networking services in the second time zone prior to a start of the second time interval in the second time zone.

  • Publication number: 20230268096
Abstract: Embodiments of systems, devices, and methods relate to controlling beams for use in beam systems. An example method of controlling a travel path of a beam includes propagating a beam along a first path from an entry point of a dipole magnet through a non-gradient portion of the dipole magnet until the beam bends toward a first beam travel path of multiple beam travel paths of the dipole magnet. The example method further includes propagating the beam along the first beam travel path through a gradient portion of the dipole magnet to focus the beam for propagation to a downstream target. Embodiments further permit a compact beam system such that a series of magnets can be used to create a path that accommodates shielding to minimize the footprint of the beam system for facilities that may not otherwise support large systems due to space and safety constraints.
