  • Patent number: 11373150
Abstract: An image of a check that is in the field of view of a camera is monitored prior to the image of the check being captured. The camera is associated with a mobile device. When the image of the check in the field of view passes monitoring criteria, an image may be taken by the camera and provided from the mobile device to a financial institution. The image capture may be performed automatically as soon as the image of the check is determined to pass the monitoring criteria. The check may be deposited in a user's bank account based on the image. Any technique for sending the image to the financial institution may be used. Feedback may be provided to the user of the camera regarding the image of the check in the field of view.

  • Patent number: 11367104
Abstract: Methods and systems disclosed herein facilitate users to capture, manage, and use receipt data, and use the information identified in the receipts in multiple receipt data use applications. Examples of such applications are generating customized recommendations for healthier items of consumable goods or services (e.g., food or beverage) based on correlating a user's purchase habits with the user's health-related data that is monitored by a wearable device, determining insurable items from receipt line item data, creating spending forecasts geared towards budgeting and saving, facilitating donations to charities based on a percentage of price of one or more items in receipt line data, and other applications that utilize receipt data.

  • Patent number: 11368491
Abstract: Techniques are described for adjusting policy characteristics based on a determined similarity between routes. A similarity metric may be determined indicating the similarity between a first route followed by a vehicle and/or driver and a second (e.g., previous) route followed by the vehicle and/or driver. A similarity metric may indicate the similarity in movements, and changes in movement, exhibited by the vehicle on the routes. The similarity metric may be determined through analysis of real time data collected by in-vehicle sensor(s), mobile user device(s), external sensors or other data sources. Based on the similarity metric, a premium, a deductible, a price, or other characteristic(s) of a policy may be determined. In some examples, policy characteristics may be adjusted (e.g., in real time) based on the analysis according to changing risk conditions if a driver is following routes that are dissimilar from typical routes.

  • Publication number: 20220182261
Abstract: Embodiments for wirelessly programming a control system of a machine, such as a vehicle, are provided. As machines typically include an intricate collection of electronic devices that communicate to one another via a complex network, the ability to reliably program such devices over a wireless connection is extremely unreliable due to network limitations or requirements, such as defined communication protocols or standards. Embodiments relate to a machine interfacing device that can wirelessly communicate with a client device that serves as both a diagnostics and programming interface. The machine interfacing device, physically coupled to the control system, can independently convert and intelligently manage communications to and from electronic devices of the machine control system.

  • Publication number: 20220181325
Abstract: A MOS device includes a set of pMOS transistors on a first side of an IC. The set of pMOS transistors is adjacent to each other in a second direction. The MOS device further includes a set of nMOS transistors on a second side of the IC. The set of nMOS transistors is adjacent to each other in the second direction. The second side is opposite the first side in a first direction orthogonal to the second direction. The MOS device further includes an OD region between the set of pMOS transistors and the set of nMOS transistors. A first set of gate interconnects may extend in the first direction over the OD region. A set of contacts may contact the OD region. The OD region, the first set of gate interconnects, and the set of contacts may form a set of transistors configured as dummy transistors or decoupling capacitors.

  • Publication number: 20220139585
Abstract: Embodiments are provided relating to the exchange of devices or assemblies holding targets used in a beam system. With these embodiments a used target can be rapidly and safely replaced with a new target to permit continued operation in a clinical or other environment. Also provided are embodiments of valves having relatively lower profiles that facilitate engagement and disengagement of beamline sections for access to the target device or assembly. All or a portion of the valve can be part of the target assembly. Also provided are embodiments of storage containers for storing a volatile object, such as an object comprising a composition sensitive to atmospheric air and/or an object that is radioactive. The storage container can include a two-part shell case assembly configured for housing a volatile object between the two parts, which engage one another to form an air-tight seal therebetween.
