  • Publication number: 20090077441
Abstract: A computer implemented method, apparatus and computer program product for extending test coverage in a simulated multiple core integrated circuit. The simulator applies at a first time a first test vector on the simulated multiple core integrated circuit, the first test vector having a duration. The simulator may also apply a second test vector at a second time before the duration but substantially after the first time. The simulator can collect a response from the multiple core integrated circuit based on the first test vector and the second test vector.

  • Patent number: 7347469
Abstract: A hand tool with a substantially rigid blade member and a pocket fixed thereto for receiving at least a portion of a hand of a user. The pocket can have an open inner volume defined by upper and lower panels, first and second pocket side panels, and, possibly, one or more end panels. Pad members, which can have ridges and troughs disposed therealong, can be coupled to the upper and lower panels. A protuberance can cooperate with the upper panel to produce an arcuate proximal surface of the hand tool. A shield can provide protection, and a mitten portion can receive a hand of a user. A plurality of apertures in the blade member can enable a selective passage of material therethrough. • Publication number: 20070185807
Abstract: A method for on-line commercial transactions (i.e., “electronic commerce” or “e-commerce”) creates a community in which the on-line commercial transactions are conducted among registered members. In one embodiment, a new member may be referred by an existing member, and the existing member's account is credited an amount which equals a predetermined percentage of the value of each on-line commercial transaction brought by the new member. After a predetermined time has elapsed, the existing member may cash out his credited earnings, donate the earnings to his designated charity, or instruction disposition by a combination of both. The on-line commercial transaction may be, for example, an on-line auction.

  • Patent number: 6616973
Abstract: The present invention recognizes that the build-up of residue in a metal alloy injection valve used to inject a liquid phosphorous precursor compound is due to the nickel in the alloy affecting the liquid phosphorous precursor compound. The invention thus provides components manufactured of an alloy having a low nickel content, preferably less than 5% nickel, and more preferably less than 1%. In an additional aspect of the invention, the alloy is provided with a higher chromium content, preferably at least 15% chromium, more preferably 16-27%.

  • Patent number: 6354241
Abstract: An apparatus and method for preventing particulate matter and residue build-up within a vacuum exhaust line of a semiconductor-processing device. The apparatus includes a vessel chamber having an inlet, an outlet and a fluid conduit between the two that fluidly couples the outlet with the inlet. The fluid conduit includes first and second collection sections. The first collection section includes a first plurality of electrodes aligned parallel to a first plane and the second collection section includes a second plurality of electrodes aligned parallel to a second plane that is substantially perpendicular to the first plane. The electrodes are connected to a voltage differential to form an electrostatic particle collector that traps electrically charged particles and particulate matter flowing through the fluid conduit. Particles are collected on the electrodes within the fluid conduit during substrate processing operations such as CVD deposition steps.

  • Patent number: 6306191
Abstract: A seal, a vent for a filter housing and a system for using them. The seal is designed a first outer seal having a closed outer periphery that divides and isolates a first inner area from the outside environment and a second inner seal formed along a portion of the inner surface of the first outer seal and forming a second inner area within the first inner area and which is isolated from both the first inner area and the outside environment. The seal is incorporated into a vent for a filter housing having opening is contained within a vent area and the opening is offset from the center of the vent area. The opening establishes a fluid pathway from the interior to the exterior of the filter device. The inner seal surrounds the vent opening. The outer seal also surrounds the vent opening at one of its ends and surrounds the entire periphery of the vent area so as to isolate the vent area from the area outside of the vent area.

  • Patent number: 6163007
Abstract: Apparatus for dissociating cleaning gas such as NF.sub.3 for use in semiconductor manufacturing includes a housing enclosing a microwave resonator to which microwave energy is applied, a plasma tube within the housing and within which cleaning gas flows and is dissociated by the microwave energy. The plasma tube has two ends into and out of which the cleaning gas flows. A first and a second structural assembly thermally protects and seals each end of the plasma tube against atmospheric leaks. Each structural assembly has a metal collar and a sealing O-ring fitting tightly around a respective end of the plasma tube. Each metal collar includes a thin layer of elastomeric material of high thermal conductivity for conducting heat through the collar away from the end of the plasma tube thereby protecting the O-ring from heat damage. This permits the apparatus to operate more efficiently. A fan forces ambient air over the apparatus.
