    Abstract: Implementations of the disclosure provide a video decoding apparatus and method for transform coefficient sign prediction on a video decoder side. The method may include selecting a set of candidate transform coefficients from dequantized transform coefficients. The method may include applying a template-based hypothesis generation scheme to select a hypothesis from a plurality of candidate hypotheses for the set of candidate transform coefficients. The method may include determining a combination of sign candidates associated with the selected hypothesis to be a set of predicted signs for the set of candidate transform coefficients. The method may include estimating original signs for the set of candidate transform coefficients based on the set of predicted signs and a sequence of sign signaling bits received from a video encoder. The method may include updating the dequantized transform coefficients based on the estimated original signs for the set of candidate transform coefficients.

The low-dropout regulator receives an input voltage from the dimming unit, and converts the input voltage into a regulated voltage. The input voltage varies with the number of light-emitting diode units in the light-on state. The input voltage is lower than the pulsed DC voltage, and the regulated voltage is lower than the input voltage.

    Abstract: A force-sensitive key module and a force-sensitive switch structure are provided. The force-sensitive switch structure includes a first protective layer, a second protective layer, a first conductive layer, a second conductive layer and a force-sensitive layer. The first protective layer receives a pressing force. The second conductive layer is aligned with the first conductive layer. The force-sensitive layer is installed on the first conductive layer or the second conductive layer. When the first protective layer receives the pressing force, an electric connection between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer is established, and the force-sensitive layer generates an analog sensing signal in response to the pressing force. When a magnitude of the pressing force is changed, the analog sensing signal is correspondingly changed according to an impedance change of the force-sensitive layer.

    Abstract: Many unsupervised domain adaptation (UDA) methods have been proposed to bridge the domain gap by utilizing domain invariant information. Most approaches have chosen depth as such information and achieved remarkable successes. Despite their effectiveness, using depth as domain invariant information in UDA tasks may lead to multiple issues, such as excessively high extraction costs and difficulties in achieving a reliable prediction quality. As a result, we introduce Edge Learning based Domain Adaptation (ELDA), a framework which incorporates edge information into its training process to serve as a type of domain invariant information. Our experiments quantitatively and qualitatively demonstrate that the incorporation of edge information is indeed beneficial and effective, and enables ELDA to outperform the contemporary state-of-the-art methods on two commonly adopted benchmarks for semantic segmentation based UDA tasks.
