Abstract: A photo management system is provided to record occurrence dates of important events in the individual life course, classify the photos according to the occurrence dates and name the photo folders. Once the preset occurrence date of a specified event is approaching, the photo management system will remind the user of taking and storing photos. Consequently, the photo management system provides a photo book marked by individual life timing. Another photo management system is a family relationship-based photo management system for managing family relationship and sharing photos. By linking the birth date to the blood relation, linking the marriage date to the affinity relation and using the information of the face address book, the kinship between the user and others can be established to deduce the family tree.

Abstract: An account creating and authenticating method is provided. Firstly, an account is created according to a face image included in a photo. A password corresponding to the face image is also generated by a service system. During an account authenticating method, an image pickup device is used to shoot a face of a login person on the spot. If the service system judges that the shot face image of the login person on the spot complies with a predetermined face image corresponding to an existing account, the login person is allowed to login into the service system and the password is displayed. In a case that the image pickup device is provided, the service system may be authenticated by inputting the password. The method of the present can simplify the process of creating and authenticating the account.

Abstract: A photo sharing system with a face recognition function is provided. The photo sharing system includes a photo browser and a photo sharing platform. The photo browser has a photo classification module for classifying plural photos according to face image contained in the plural photos, thereby generating a photo classification message. The photo classification message contains the photos having the face image of the same person. Moreover, the photo classification message may be transmitted to the photo sharing platform at the same time to be shared to the receiver corresponding to face image. By the photo sharing system, the efficacy of sharing photos will be enhanced.

Abstract: A direct photo sharing system includes a photo sharing browser and a photo sharing platform. Through the photo sharing browser, the user may browse and share at least one photo. The photo sharing browser includes a browsing history recording module for recording a browsing history of the at least one photo and a photo selecting module for allowing the user to select a photo to be shared and issuing a sharing indicator. The photo sharing platform is used for storing the at least one photo and the browsing history of the photo and transmitting the sharing indicator. The photo sharing platform includes a photo file management module and a photo recommendation module. The photo file management module manages at least one photo folder. The photo recommendation module gathers statistics and performs analysis on the browsing history of the photo, thereby generating at least one recommendation notification signal.

Abstract: A document transmission system, which includes a document provider, a document receiver, a storage device, an identifying device, and a transmission system. The document provider is utilized for providing a document having a symbol, which is visually identifiable. The document receiver is utilized for receiving the document, wherein the document receiver has an address. The storage device is configured for storing an address book that that includes the address relevant to the symbol. The identifying device is utilized for identifying the symbol and for mapping the symbol to the address book to obtain the address referring to the symbol. The transmission system is utilized for transmitting the document from the document provider to the document receiver according to the address.

Abstract: A method for forming a touch sensing pattern and signal wires, comprises the steps of: installing a first and a second conductive plating films on a surface of a highly transparency substrate; projecting a high energy light beam to the conductive plating films; and the high energy light beam moving with respect to the substrate along a predetermined track; a plurality of insulating trenches being formed in the first and second conductive plating films so as to form predetermined patterns for a sensing area and a wire area; a yellow light process being performed on the substrate; a layer of light resistor thin film being formed on a surfaces of the wire area; and etching the first conductive plating film in the sensing area; by above steps, the predetermined pattern in the sensing area being formed in the second conductive plating film.

Abstract: An oral fixation device and an oral fixing method using the same are provided. The oral fixation device includes a U-shaped brace and an arch board. The arch board is connected to an inner wall of the U-shaped brace, wherein the central part of the arch board is thicker than the connecting part, and the maximum thickness of the arch board is larger than 2 mm.

Abstract: A method of generating a high dynamic range image corresponding to a specific scene. The method includes shooting a specific scene to generate a base image; selecting a bright area and a dark area from the base image; determining base luminance according to the base image; shooting the specific scene to generate at least a first image, wherein average luminance of a part of the first image corresponding to the bright area of the base image is less than or equal to the base luminance; shooting the specific scene to generate at least a second image, wherein average luminance of a part of the second image corresponding to the dark area of the base image is greater than or equal to the base luminance; and combining at least the first image and the second image into a high dynamic range image corresponding to the specific scene.

Abstract: A method of capturing an image of a document is provided. First, a notebook computer having a base is provided, wherein an image pickup device is disposed on the notebook computer, and a symbol mark is formed on the base of the notebook computer. Next, a document fixer having a fixer middle mark is provided. The document is fixed by the document fixer, wherein a centerline of a long edge of the document is aligned with the fixer middle mark. Next, the document fixer is moved according to a size of the document until the fixer middle mark is aligned with the symbol mark. After the image of the document is captured, an image processing procedure is performed. By aligning the fixer middle mark with the symbol mark of the notebook computer, the document is precisely positioned and thus a sharp image with no tilted distortion is acquired.

Abstract: A document fixer includes a supporting plate and a fixer body. The supporting plate includes a business card fixing recess and a clamping part. The fixer body includes a first supporting plate receiving part, an ordinary document fixing recess and a second supporting plate receiving part. When the supporting plate is received in the first supporting plate receiving part, the document fixer is adapted to fix a business card. Whereas, when the supporting plate is received in the second supporting plate receiving part, the document fixer is adapted to fix an ordinary document.

Abstract: An input device model testing system is provided for testing an input device model that is placed on a working plane. The input device model testing system includes image pickup devices for capturing the input device model and the working plane, a microphone for receiving the clicking sound of the input device model, a computer screen for displaying the working plane image, and a computer host. The computer host includes a model image analyzing program and a working plane image analyzing program. The working plane image and the model image are respectively analyzed by the model image analyzing program and the working plane image analyzing program, so that associated user input instructions are executed.

Abstract: A method for verifying areas within an image corresponding to monetary banknotes includes: dividing the image into a plurality of verification sections; generating a banknote boundary map having border sections corresponding to boundaries of valid monetary banknotes; generating a texture decision map from the image having texture sections each having texture values within a valid range according to a valid monetary banknote, determining objects in the texture decision map by removing texture sections in the texture decision map corresponding to border sections in the banknote boundary map; calculating a texture property value for objects according to texture feature values for each verification section; calculating shape property values for each object; and further removing texture sections from the texture decision map corresponding to objects that do not have the texture property value within a first predetermined range and the shape property value within a second predetermined range.

Abstract: A document transmission system includes a document provider, a document receiver, and a network transmission system. The document provider is utilized for providing a document. The document receiver is utilized to receive a paper with data to provide a document. The network transmission system is utilized for respectively providing network addresses to the document provider and the document receiver, and for transmitting the document from the document provider to the document receiver according to the network addresses.
