  • Publication number: 20210043842
Abstract: An electrode interface layer material is generated by using a modifier to react with polyethyleneimine, and the amine group on the polyethyleneimine is converted into an ammonium group by reacting with the modifier to form a zwitterionic polyethyleneimine. When an active layer containing a non-fullerene material is formed on the surface of the electrode interface layer, or when the surface of the electrode interface layer is contacted with a non-fullerene material, the possibility that the non-fullerene material is destroyed by the amine groups in the electrode interface layer can be reduced. In addition, the aforementioned electrode interface layer material or zwitterionic polymer is used for an organic photovoltaic device.

  • Publication number: 20200402792
Abstract: Methods of depositing a film selectively onto a first material relative to a second material are described. The substrate is pre-cleaned by heating the substrate to a first temperature, cleaning contaminants from the substrate and activating the first surface to promote formation of a self-assembled monolayer (SAM) on the first material. A SAM is formed on the first material by repeated cycles of SAM molecule exposure, heating and reactivation of the first material. A final exposure to the SAM molecules is performed prior to selectively depositing a film on the second material. Apparatus to perform the selective deposition are also described.

  • Patent number: 10853178
Abstract: Technology is described for a checkpoint service for code function checkpoints associated with instances of code functions executed by a computing hub in a local area network. Subsequent to the execution of a code function being suspended by the computing hub, the computing hub may generate a code function checkpoint describing the execution of the code function. The computing hub may persist the code function checkpoint to storage using a checkpoint service. The computing hub may create the code function checkpoint in response to monitoring metrics associated with the computing hub, such as processor overutilization. The computing hub may resume the execution of the code function at a later time using the code function checkpoint retrieved from the checkpoint service.

  • Patent number: 10817280
Abstract: Technologies are described for a local interface override that allows a program code function to be executed on a computing hub and interface with a local service located on the computing hub. An example method may include loading, on a computing hub included in a local device network, a program code function configured to interface with a shared service located in a service provider environment. Loading a local library to overlay a service provider library, where the local library provides a local service interface for a local service located on the computing hub that is similar to a shared service interface for the shared service. Overriding the service provider library with the local library in response to service requests generated by the instance of the program code function; thereby providing the local service interface for the local service located on the computing hub.

  • Publication number: 20200293874
Abstract: Described herein is a mechanism to identify user intent in requests submitted to a system such as a digital assistant or question-answer systems. Embodiments utilize a match methodology instead of a classification methodology. Features derived from a subgraph retrieved from a knowledge base based on the request are concatenated with pretrained word embeddings for both the request and a candidate predicate. The concatenated inputs for both the request and predicate are encoded using two independent LSTM networks and then a matching score is calculated using a match LSTM network. The result is identified based on the matching scores for a plurality of candidate predicates. The pretrained word embeddings allow for knowledge transfer since pretrained word embeddings in one intent domain can apply to another intent domain without retraining.

  • Patent number: 10719367
Abstract: A technology is described for executing work requests. In one example, a worker configured to execute an instance of a program code function of a defined function type that corresponds to an expected work request to execute the program code function may be initialized in computer memory, and the worker may be added to a worker pool. A worker reservation policy may determine how many workers may be held in the worker pool based in part on an anticipated demand for the workers. A work request to execute the program code function may be received, and in response, a work item may be generated for execution by the worker. The worker may be identified in the worker pool, and the worker and the work item may be assigned to a work item manager to enable the work item manager to invoke the worker to execute the work item.
