  • Patent number: 8667475
Abstract: A program-converting module for a multi-axis cooperated machine and a program-converting method. Machining programs and mechanism data of a plurality of first machines are input to a first input module. Mechanism data of a plurality of second machines are input to a second input unit. A setting unit sets at least one of the first machines to be a source machine, and sets one of the second machines to be a target machine. A conversion unit uses a kinematical method to convert the machining program of the source machine into a machining program applicable to the target machine based on the mechanism data of the source and target machines, without requiring CAD/CAM software.

  • Publication number: 20130215047
Abstract: A scan method for a capacitive touch panel has steps of performing a relatively small first number of estimation scans on multiple sensing lines of a capacitive touch panel and recording results of the estimation scans, marking the sensing lines meeting a predetermined condition according to the results of the estimation scans, and performing a relatively large second number of practical scans on the marked sensing lines. Given the first-stage estimation scans and the second-stage practical scans, the sensing lines possibly touched by a touch object can be rapidly identified and marked, and the second-stage practical scans are performed on the marked sensing lines. Accordingly, noises and errors can be effectively reduced, accurate scan can be ensured, and higher frame rate can be achieved.

  • Patent number: 6792602
Abstract: The invention provides a solution/device for controlling external parameters by use of the same data cable and specific software to transfer/receive messages and monitor/control external parameters in a system. Additionally, the invention is compatible with ATA/ATAPI by using the ATA protocol or side-band protocol to make a main system communicate with other device(s) through an ATA/ATAPI device's data cable. Also, the invention uses the system's data cables and a non-standard controlling sequence to transfer and receive messages by the same cable to connect with the external devices for monitoring/controlling external parameters. Hence, the number of data wires needed is reduced. Also, the invention can decrease the manufacture costs and get a better heating dissipation.

  • Publication number: 20030050852
Abstract: A purchase order tracking system and method is proposed, which allows a customer who have issued an electronic purchase order, such as EDI 850, to a manufacturer to track the progress of the manipulation of the purchase order by the manufacturer. The proposed purchase order tracking system and method is characterized by the provision of an on-line purchase order manipulation progress report for each received EDI-850 electronic purchase order to record related data at the completion of each stage of the purchase order manipulation. The purchase order manipulation progress report is then downloaded into a Web-linked database so as to allow the customer to gain access to the purchase order manipulation progress report by linking via Internet to the Web server and view the contents of the purchase order manipulation progress report through a Web browser program.

  • Publication number: 20020186706
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a structure for ATA bus protocol compatible time-division multiplexing data transfer of single-bus and multi-drive. It mainly consists of a primary ATA bus arbiter and several ATA/HD bridges and concurrent ATA master drives. The primary ATA bus arbiter combines the bus requests of ATA bus masters to complete time-division multiplexing on the host side and allocate the ATA bus application. The ATA/HD bridges are used to respond to the on-line requests of the bus masters by switching the time-division multiplexing on the target side and resolve the possible bus contention that may be generated when two or more ATA drives are acting simultaneously. The concurrent ATA master drives will default all ATA drives as master drives under a bridge structure to allow them to become independent to each other so as to carry out respective commands and await requests from the main system individually.

  • Patent number: 6242322
Abstract: The present invention proposes a method for forming shallow trench isolation. Isolation trenches are firstly formed on a silicon substrate. High-density plasma oxide layer is used to fill the trenches. A layer of poly-silicon and a thin oxide layer are then deposited on the high-density plasma oxide layer. Selective poly-silicon chemical mechanical polishing is then used to form a self-align reverse poly mask on the surface of the shallow trenches filled with the high-density plasma oxide layer. The high-density plasma oxide layer is locally etched. Chemical mechanical polishing is then used to perform a planarization process on the surface. In the present invention, photolithography is not necessary in the planarization process of high-density plasma oxide layer. Manufacture cost is thus lower.
