    Abstract: In a first pair of stacked PMOS devices comprising a first PMOS device and a second PMOS device, a first pumping circuit is coupled between a gate of the first PMOS device and a P pre-driver signal. In a second pair of stacked NMOS devices comprising a first NMOS device and a second NMOS device, a second pumping circuit is coupled between a gate of the first NMOS device and an N pre-driver signal. The pumping circuits recognizing the transition from the pre-driver signals provide a voltage to the gate of the first PMOS device and of the first NMOS device so that the first PMOS and NMOS devices are turned on better. As a result, their voltage Vds peaks are suppressed to a safe level; the devices avoid hot-carrier degradations; and their lifetimes are prolonged.

Further, the method of the present invention controls the backlights to form dark stages between the intervals respectively of two different colors of the backlights and controls the dark stage to coincide with a color-mixing interval, which is caused by response delay of liquid crystal, to prevent from color distortion caused by color mixing. Therefore, the present invention can generate the pure colors and the designed derived colors accurately.

The bush forms a first and a second protrusion element respectively extending out of its two ends. The spring tube is fixedly connected with a supporting member and is provided with two torsion sleeves respectively on the two ends of the bush. Each torsion sleeve has an axial cut and has two contact elements extending respectively toward the two ends of the bush. The contact elements respectively interfere with the first and the second protrusion elements. By the function between the torsion sleeve and the bush, the pivot hinge can provide different torsion forces for the stroke of rotating the screen from its closed position to a vertical angular position and for the stroke from the vertical position to its maximum opening angular position.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a single-level driver is programmed to generate a plurality of segment voltage signals. A multicolor backlight modulation device receives the segment voltage signals and modulating a portion of the segment voltage signals to generate a common voltage signal and at least two synchronous color-separation backlight driving signals driving a backlight source to emitting different-color backlights. The common voltage signal cooperates with the segment voltage signals to form voltage differences which drive a mono-pixel to turn on or turn off in a time-division mode and allow different-color backlights to pass the mono-pixel at the same time. The time-division different-color backlights are accumulated by vision persistence to present a chromatic effect on the mono-pixel. The resultant colors can be intelligently varied via programming the segment voltage signals to achieve diversified multicolor effects.

    Abstract: The present invention modulates a plurality of sequentially generated common voltage signals into a new common voltage signal and synchronous color-separation backlight control signals turning on different-color backlight sources.
