  • Publication number: 20100033416
Abstract: A row (common electrode)-modulation gray-level LCD device and a method thereof, which use a row-modulation device to input at least two sequentially generated original common voltage signals to the common electrode of the same row, whereby the sequentially generated original common voltage signals cooperate with the segment voltage signals to generate voltage differences in the common electrode and turn on or turn off the same monochromatic pixel in a time-division mode. The accumulated effect of the time-division turn-on and turn-off states enables the same monochromatic pixel to present gray-pixel.

  • Publication number: 20090262888
Abstract: An aiming method and a device for an extraoral radiographic technique using a pair of length-adjustable indicator rods. Install a circular locator on each to the indicator rod. While keeping at an appropriate angle, hold the two locators closely beside the cheeks of the patient, and then along the hypothetical axis, secure a radioactive-rays emission head onto one of the circular locator. Following this hypothetical axis to the other locator, and secure a film or a sensor. Aim the radioactive-rays emission head along the hypothetical axis while taking the radiographic shots.

  • Patent number: 7600298
Abstract: A hinge rotative on two mutual orthogonal axes, it is used in electronic equipment having a screen and a main body; the hinge has a fixing plate having thereon a rotation seat rotative on a vertical axis relatively to the fixing plate and has two connecting legs rotative on a horizontal axis. A nut above the rotation seat is used to screw lock to a rotation shaft, thereby twisting force on the rotation seat can be adjusted; and the connecting legs each has a resilient sleeve forming thereon a plane or forming on its lateral side a strip protruding inwards, by cooperation of the planes/strips with surfaces/recesses on shafts of the connecting legs extending into the resilient sleeves, better positioning effects are obtained; and a connecting area between the rotation shaft and the fixing plate is given with four protrusions, hence the hinge gets a stable structure.

  • Publication number: 20070199180
Abstract: A forked spring tube used for a pivot hinge on a foldable electronic product, it provides an elastic twisting force for a rotation axle. The forked spring tube has an annular slipping over portion for slipping over a shaft of the rotation axle, the slipping over portion is formed on its periphery a slit to be endued with elasticity, and the lower area of the slipping over portion has a positioning protruding sheet extending vertically downwards, the bottom of the positioning protruding sheet is formed to have a left and a right bevel portion as being forked from its middle; the two bevel portions mutually symmetrical are formed at their respective upper areas fulcrums, this will get larger fulcrum areas, and the twisting force that the spring tube can bear can be much increased; after the spring tube is assembled in a connecting portion of a fixing seat, it can be more even structurally than the prior art, and is not subjected to the problem of loosening.

  • Patent number: 7124473
Abstract: A hinge for a notebook includes an L-shaped seat with a barrel. A pintle has a shaft extending in the barrel of the seat. A first tube, a sleeve and a second tube are in turn mounted on the shaft. The first tube and second tube are securely received in the barrel and each has a stop formed at a respective end facing the sleeve. The sleeve has two arcuate segments respectively formed at two ends and corresponding to the stops of the tubes. Thus, the sleeve can be rotated along with the shaft about the first and second tubes until one arcuate segment of the sleeve abuts the corresponding stop. Whereby, a user can raise the display with a small force to separate the display from the body and a large force to completely raise and position the display.
