    Abstract: A docking station including a housing, a linkage, a forcing member and a first connector for electrically connecting to a first connector of an electronic device, is provided. The housing includes a platform having a first opening and the electronic device is suitable for being placed on the platform. The housing further comprises a second opening located outside the platform. The linkage is disposed within the housing. The forcing member disposed on the second opening is connected to one end of the linkage, wherein the forcing member is suitable for moving back and forth along a predetermined path to actuate the linkage. The first connector disposed on the first opening is connected to the other end of the linkage, wherein the first connector is suitable for expanding and contracting in the first opening through the linkage to be connected to or disconnected from the second connector of the electronic device.

    Abstract: An antenna structure and its manufacture method are disclosed. The antenna structure is applied to an electronic device and wirelessly operated at least a frequency band. The antenna structure includes a first antenna body, a second antenna body connected to the first antenna body through a third body. The first antenna body is provided for generating radiations. The second antenna body is connected to the first antenna body through the third body. The second antenna body has a folding portion upwardly extended from a tail portion of the second antenna body to reflect scattered radiations generated by the first antenna body to increase broadband, and at least two beveled edges are formed at a side of the first antenna body to increase peak gain. The antenna structure is a PIFA antenna, and the folding portion is upwardly extended toward the first antenna body, thereby completely reflecting scattered radiations.

    Abstract: A wireless transmission system is provided for receiving a wireless signal in a wireless electronic device. The wireless transmission system includes a first antenna for vertical polarization, a second antenna for horizontal polarization, a sensor module for sensing pose status of the wireless electronic device and generating a control signal, and a controllable switch coupled to the first antenna and the second antenna for selecting one of the first antenna and the second antenna as an active antenna for receiving the wireless signal according to the control signal. With the aid of the two antennas, signal that comes from any direction can be received efficiently. Furthermore, one omni-directional antenna is used for transmitting signal. All the antennas are internal, and have better throughput performance than external antennas.

    Abstract: A system for opening an application quickly is suitable for an electronic device, and includes a receiving unit, a recognition unit, a menu screen interface, and a function-opening unit. The receiving unit is for receiving a first data, and the recognition unit searches to compare the first data with a database, and then, according to the compared result, outputs at least one second data. The menu screen interface produces a list of corresponding applications resulting from the second data. The function-opening unit loads the application-opening directive of one of the applications from the database while detecting this application has been triggered, and then opens the corresponding application. Hence, the system can list the related applications by distinguishing the first data, and achieves the goal of opening an application quickly.
