  • Patent number: 8878087
Abstract: The instant disclosure is a resilient pressing member structure having a pressing unit disposed on top of a translucent insulated layer, an upper cover, a light-emitting unit, two conductive layers and a spacer. The pressing unit includes a plurality of pressing members while the cover is formed with a cavity filled with a fluid to achieve the effect of pressure dispersion. A light guiding structure and a light reflecting structure are disposed on the topside and the backside of the insulated layer, respectively. The insulated layer is formed by at least one light unit opening which extends through the insulated layer. The light-emitting unit is hosted inside the light unit opening. Light from the light-emitting unit penetrates the insulated layer and reaches the pressing member. Then the guiding structure directs light while the reflecting structure reflects light towards the pressing member, thus illuminates the pressing member.

  • Publication number: 20130293759
Abstract: An image capture method is provided for a portable communication device having a display unit, which real-time displays an image at least including an object to be shot. The method includes sensing a moving acceleration of the portable communication device based on a first gravity-sensing threshold value. A touch focus signal is received so that the portable communication device focuses on one of the objects to be the focus-lock object. Then, according to the touch focus signal, the first gravity-sensing threshold value is changed to a second gravity-sensing threshold value, which is larger than the first gravity-sensing threshold value. The image at least including the focus-lock object is captured.

  • Patent number: 7757149
Abstract: Decoding by passing messages back and forth between a set of variable nodes and a set of check nodes, where at least one of the nodes broadcasts the same message to each of its associated nodes, is provided. For example, the variable nodes can broadcast and the check nodes can provide individual messages. Alternatively, the check nodes can broadcast and the variable nodes can provide individual messages. As another alternative, the variable nodes and the check nodes can both broadcast to their associated nodes. Broadcasting reduces the number of interconnections required between variable nodes and check nodes. Broadcasting is enabled by providing local storage within the nodes and/or by providing extra processing steps within the nodes.

  • Patent number: 7686626
Abstract: A rail-type grounding terminal structure composed of a metal grounding member and an insulating housing. The amount of waste material produced in manufacturing of the grounding member is reduced. In addition, the grounding member has larger contact face to increase current value. Also, the grounding member can be easily tightly connected with a grounding rail. The grounding member is divided into two parts with predetermined configurations respectively. The grounding member includes a metal insertion leg mounted on a leaf spring mount and a bow section connected with the metal insertion leg. The bow section has a first end and a second end. The first and second ends outward extend and are latched on the grounding rail. The metal insertion leg has a head end, a slope and a shoulder section. The slope and the shoulder section are formed under the head end. The grounding terminal is operable to separate from or connect with the rail.

  • Patent number: 7686627
Abstract: A rail-type grounding terminal structure composed of a metal grounding member and an insulating housing. The grounding member has better operation elasticity and can be easily tightly connected with a grounding rail. The grounding member includes a metal insertion leg mountable on a leaf spring mount, a bow section connected with the metal insertion leg and a first end and a second end respectively outward extending from the bow section and latched on a grounding rail. The metal insertion leg has a slightly outward deflected head end and a neck wall formed thereunder. When the metal insertion leg is mounted on the leaf spring mount, the leaf spring mount exerts a reaction force to urge the grounding member to tightly attach to lower side of the housing. Therefore, a gap is defined between the grounding member and the housing for a serviceman to separate the grounding member from the rail or connect the grounding member with the rail.

  • Patent number: 7675968
Abstract: Finite impulse response filters are commonly used in high speed data communications electronics for reducing error rates in multilevel symbol encoding schemes. Schemes such as pulse amplitude modulation and quadrature amplitude modulation may have higher error rates for symbols with low signal to noise ratios. By selectively updating the tap coefficients of the filter based on the symbols received, a more robust, accurate filter can be built.
