    Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a channel structure, source region, a drain region, metal gate structure, and a self-assembled layer. The source region and the drain region are on opposite sides of the channel structure. A bottom surface of the source region is lower than a bottom surface of the channel structure, and a top surface of the source region is higher than a top surface of the channel structure. The metal gate structure covers the channel structure and between the source region and the drain region. The self-assembled layer is between the source region and the metal gate structure. The self-assembled layer is in contact with the bottom surface of the channel structure but spaced apart from the top surface of the channel structure.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are novel single-stranded anti-sense oligonucleotides (ASOs) capable of reducing the transcription of thioredoxin domain containing protein 5 (TXNDC5) mRNA. Also disclosed is use of the single-stranded ASOs as disclosed herein for manufacturing medicaments suitable for treating a disease associated with upregulation of TXNDC5. Accordingly, a pharmaceutical composition comprising the disclosed ASO molecules is provided; as well as a method of treating a subject suffering from TXNDC5-mediated disease via administering to the subject the disclosed single-stranded ASO molecules.

The communication of data and instructions enables user-facing functionality and feedback to a user. The connection between the blood glucose monitor and the continuous glucose monitor may also provide for improved functionality of either or both devices. For example, measurements may be used for calibration or verification processes. Data streams from other data sources may be correlated or integrated with the data obtained by the blood glucose monitor and/or the continuous glucose monitor. The correlation or the integration of other data streams may be used to provide additional alerts or functionality to the user. Aspects of the current subject matter are also directed to integration of blood glucose monitor and continuous glucose monitor functionalities in one device or structure.

The second amplification circuit generates an adjustment signal according to a difference between the feedback signal and a fast response signal. The comparator generates a pulse width modulation signal according to a difference between the amplification signal and a ramp signal to generate a switch control signal. The adjustment signal adaptively adjusts the amplification signal or the ramp signal. The low-pass filtered signal is related to a signal generated by filtering out higher frequency part of the reference signal, and the reference signal is related to a dynamic change of a target level of the output voltage.
