  • Publication number: 20090115997
Abstract: Measurement system and methods for measuring oxygenated hemoglobin saturation level are provided. Light is transmitted to test blood and a reference mirror. The reference mirror provides a first reflected light beam, and backscattered light from different depths of the test blood generates a second reflected light beam. An interfered light signal is generated by light interference of the first and second reflected light beams. According to the interfered light signal, a first light decay constant for a first light wavelength range and a second light decay constant for a second light wavelength range are obtained according to the interfered light signal. A decay ratio of the first light decay constant to the second light decay constant is obtained. Oxygenated hemoglobin saturation level of the test blood is obtained according to the decay ratio.

  • Publication number: 20080035909
Abstract: A method for controlling the color contrast of a multi-wavelength light-emitting diode (LED) made according to the present invention is disclosed. The present invention includes at least the step of increasing the junction temperature of a multi-quantum-well LED, such that holes are distributed in a deeper quantum-well layer of the LED to increase luminous intensity of the deeper quantum-well layer, thereby controlling the relative intensity ratios of the multiple wavelengths emitted by the LED. The step of increasing junction temperature of the multi-quantum-well LED is achieved either by controlling resistance through modulating thickness of a p-type electrode layer of the LED or by modifying the mesa area size to control its relative heat radiation surface area.

  • Publication number: 20070086093
Abstract: A lens device includes a lens unit that is connected fixedly to a coupling ring disposed coaxially in and coupled axially and movably to a hollow tubular body of a lens seat. A radially extending engaging stub of the coupling ring engages movably with a slot that is formed in the tubular body and that extends in an axial direction of the lens seat, and engages movably with a curved guiding groove in an operating sleeve sleeved rotatably on the tubular body. Movement of the engaging stub along the guiding groove in the operating sleeve in response to rotation of the operating sleeve relative to the tubular body causes the engaging stub on the coupling ring to move along the slot in the tubular body in the axial direction, thereby adjusting the lens unit to a desired focusing position.

  • Publication number: 20050024603
Abstract: A projection lens set shifting apparatus includes a gear train, adjusting shaft and projection lens set, wherein an eccentric wheel is fixed on an output shaft of the gear train and a notch is opened at the circumference of the eccentric wheel. An eccentric pin is fixed at one end of the adjusting shaft. The eccentric pin in the notch connects the adjusting shaft and the gear train. The projection lens set is moved up and down along the adjusting shaft by rotating the gear train to drive the adjusting shaft, thus cause an image focusing location to be moved with the projection lens set and shifted up and down on a screen. Therefore, an image projection location can be changed and the image deformation is not yielded. Besides, a gap between the notch and the eccentric pin absorbs a production tolerance.
