Abstract: The present invention provides a pressure gauge for measuring a pressure of a source. The pressure gauge includes a case, a flexible film, a magnetic device, a coil, a processor, and a screen. The case has a bore connecting the source. The coil is provided in the case. The flexible film is provided on an inner side of the case to cover the bore that the flexible film is expandable by the pressure of the source. The magnetic device is received in the case to be moved relative to the coil by the flexible film. The movement of the magnetic device causes the coil to generate an induced electromotive force, and the processor may find the gas pressure according to the induced electromotive force, and show it on the screen.

Abstract: A temperature controlling device includes a setting controller, a gas valve, a burner, an inlet temperature sensor, a water meter, and an operational controller. User sets a desired temperature via the setting controller. The inlet temperature sensor senses an inlet temperature of water at an inlet of a pipe, and then operational controller calculates a difference between the inlet temperature and the desired temperature to get a total heat for heating water in a predetermined heating time and transfer the total heat into a total gas consumption, and controls the gas valve to supply gas to the burner with an amount of the total gas consumption in a predetermined heating time. After that, water should be heated to the desired temperature, and the operational controller controls the gas valve to decrease the gas supply for maintaining water temperature.

Abstract: A method for enhancing surface characteristics of a fingerprint sensor and a protective structure made according to the method are disclosed. The method includes the steps of: providing a fingerprint sensor having a number of detecting elements beneath a top surface of the fingerprint sensor, the detecting element is used to detect changes of capacitance over a portion of a finger; forming a metal mesh layer over the top surface of the fingerprint sensor, wherein metal lines of the metal mesh layer are formed periodically and each of them is located between two adjacent detecting elements; forming a passivation layer on the metal mesh layer to shape a concave-convex top surface; and filling concave portions of the passivation layer with a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) material. A convex portion of the passivation layer is substantially above the metal line of the metal mesh layer.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide an IP camera having repeater functions, which includes an image-capturing module for capturing images, an image processor for processing the images, a central processor including a network communication module for activating the repeater functions and mediating communication between a root wireless access point (WAP) and an external device, and an antenna electrically connected to the network communication module in order for the IP camera to make wireless connection to the root WAP, upload the images to the Internet and serve as a repeater between the two WAPs, and a memory configured for storing operating software, a plurality of service set identifiers (IDs) and an authentication key. Due to the repeater functions of the IP camera, the external device can identify the IP camera by the IDs and then connect to the Internet, even if the external device is outside coverage of a wireless LAN.

Abstract: A spindle motor for a hard disk drive includes a base and a bearing assembly coupled to the base. The bearing assembly includes a sleeve configured to rotatably support a shaft therein. A rotor hub is affixed to the shaft so as to be rotatable with the shaft about a rotational axis. A stator is arranged in between the rotor hub and the base. A first magnet is arranged over the stator and on a bottom surface of the rotor hub. In particular, the rotor hub includes a body portion, a peripheral wall portion extending from the body portion in a direction towards the base, and a flange portion having a disk seating surface configured for supporting one or more disks thereon. The peripheral wall portion is configured to at least partially surround the stator in a radial direction. There is also provided a method of fabricating the spindle motor and a hard disk drive incorporating the spindle motor.

Abstract: A portable electronic device is provided. The portable electronic device includes a display module, a speed sensor and a control module. The display module is for displaying an image. The speed sensor is for determining a moving speed of the portable electronic device. The control module, coupled to the speed sensor and the display module, is for determining a rotation sensitivity for the control module to rotate the displayed image according to the moving speed of the portable electronic device. A control method of the aforementioned portable electronic device is also provided.

The hard disk drive includes a spindle motor having a fluid dynamic bearing (FDB) motor hub, a hard disk drive housing and a base insert. The hard disk drive housing houses the spindle motor therewithin and has an upper housing and a base, the base including a first material. The base insert has ferromagnetic properties, includes a second material and has a flat circular bottom portion and an outer circumferential vertical portion. The flat circular bottom portion of the base insert is located between the FDB motor hub and the base to enhance yield strength therebetween and a bottom portion of the FDB motor hub is surrounded by the outer circumferential vertical portion of the base insert to generate preload for the FDB motor hub.

Therefore, the present invention may increase bone contact area and enhance stability, and thereby avoiding compressing nerve to cause paralysis of perception through the implant and avoiding the sinus perforation.

Abstract: A printed circuit board having an electronic component embedded and a method making the same are disclosed. The printed circuit board has four electrically conductive layers and three core layers formed interleavedly. By properly removing a portion of the printed circuit board, the electronic component can be exposed. It has advantages that the exposed electronic component can be a CCD, CMOS or module. When the devices mentioned are embedded in the printed circuit board, one part of them can be exposed from the printed circuit board for normal functions. The overall thickness of the printed circuit board assembly can be minimized to meet the trend of compact design of electronic products.

Abstract: A multi-function identification system is described in the present invention. The system includes an appliance and a number of keys. Under a registration process, the system allows multiple appliances to be controlled by a single key or an appliance can be controlled by different keys. The system can also allow users to set specified actions to be conducted after identification processes are completed. That satisfies requirements of a multi-function identification. Meanwhile, the key is a plug-and play and on-the-go product. It is desired that the key is a host used for other purpose.

Abstract: A hot water supply system provided on a water pipeline, which includes a water inflow side and a water outlet side. The hot water supply system includes a plurality of water heaters; each includes a conduit, a heating device, a calculating unit, and a control unit. The conduit includes an inlet section, an outlet section, and a heating section in sequence, wherein the inlet section and the outlet section are connected with the water inflow side and the water outflow side respectively; the heating device heats the heating section; the calculating unit estimates a heating workload needed. If the heating workload of any water heater exceeds a predetermined upper limit workload thereof, the control unit of one water heater controls the other idle heating device to heat water, which ensures that water temperature of water provided to the water outflow side would reach a demanded water temperature.

The first sensor senses a resistance of water in the water pipe, and the second sensor senses a flow rate of the water in the water pipe. The controller is electrically connected to the first sensor and the second sensor to stop the combustor to heat water when a resistance sensed by the first sensor is higher than a critical resistance for a predetermined period, and a flow rate sensed by the second sensor is not zero.

Abstract: A water heater includes a water pipe form by bending a pipe. The entire water pipe leans related to a vertical plane to expose all the section to a burner thereunder.
