  • Patent number: 10200428
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for unicast routing of a media stream to subscribers are disclosed. A stream routing service is implemented using one or more computing devices that are provisioned from a multi-tenant provider network. The service acquires a media stream over one or more input channels from a media source. The service replicates the media stream to a plurality of subscriber components that have subscribed to the media stream. The media stream is replicated to the subscriber components using unicast transmission to individual addresses of the subscriber components.

  • Publication number: 20180132979
Abstract: A dental material dispensing device has a plunger means which for dispensing the dental material is movable for urging at least one component of a dental material toward a dispensing area. The device further has cure control means with an energy source and a flow path on which the dental composition and/or the dental material flows past the energy source during dispensation. The device is operable for exposing the dental composition and/or the dental material to a specific energy by control of the energy source and/or by control of the speed of the flow of the dental composition and/or the dental material on the flow path. The device is configured for dispensing a coherent strand of dental material in a dispensing cycle. The device is further configured for operating in a first dispensing mode and additionally in a second dispensing mode during the same dispensing cycle. • Patent number: 9942577
Abstract: Techniques are described for caching dynamic objects for media content playback. A media server can provide a cache key representing a set of instructions used to select a subset of manifest data. The cache key can be provided to a viewer device, which can then contact a content delivery network (CDN) for a dynamic manifest file corresponding to the cache key. The CDN can contact the media server to have the dynamic manifest file generated using the cache key if it is not in its cache.

  • Patent number: 9866459
Abstract: Techniques are described for automatically migrating client devices away from unreliable origin stacks in ways that mitigate potentially negative impacts on the user experience. Multiple origin stacks are provisioned in parallel to provide encoded versions of the same broadcast content for streaming to client devices. Each of the origin stacks is monitored to ensure that it is operating correctly. When an origin stack fails or becomes unreliable, each of the client devices involved in a session corresponding to the unreliable stack is provided with the information it needs to establish a new session corresponding to another one of the stacks.

  • Patent number: 9394893
Abstract: A controllable hydraulic oscillating slide machine includes an inner rotor arranged in a housing and having cylindrical recesses. A bearing is formed in the housing, in which a co-rotating outer rotor is mounted eccentrically to the inner rotor, the outer rotor having several pivotably suspended slide drivers that engage into the recesses of the inner rotor for rotationally driving the outer rotor by way of the inner rotor and form modifiable chambers. The slide drivers may each be coupled to a piston that is guided in a respective associated recess. A pressure level different from that in the chambers between the inner and the outer rotor may be set in the chambers delimited by the recesses and the associated pistons so that two different pressure levels may be generated and two different consumers can be supplied using the oscillating slide machine.
