  • Patent number: 11918912
Abstract: A process to track and provide positional information for display on a remote device includes receiving, on a first recurring basis, time-stamped position information of participant(s) in a competition. The time-stamped position information is captured by a telemetry tracking system during the competition and describes a time-stamped position of each of one or more corresponding participants in a predetermined spatial region. The process includes communicating at least a subset of time-stamped position information to the remote device on a second recurring basis. The remote device uses the time-stamped position information to overlay a representation of one or more of said participants onto a first virtual reproduction of at least a relevant portion of the predetermined spatial region to produce and display an instance of a compiled virtual scene that shows a respective position of each of the participant(s) on the first virtual reproduction of the predetermined spatial region.

  • Publication number: 20240061094
Abstract: A method for classifying the height of an object by means of at least one ultrasonic sensor of a vehicle is disclosed. The method includes emitting an ultrasonic signal by the ultrasonic sensor of the vehicle in a transmission cycle; and performing a reception cycle, wherein the reception cycle has a reception time window which makes it possible to receive echoes having a transit time which corresponds to at least double a reception range of the ultrasonic sensor. It is checked whether echoes were received in the reception cycle. A detected object is classified in a height class depending on whether at least a first and a second echo were received, wherein the transit time of the second echo is an integer multiple of the transit time of the first echo.

  • Publication number: 20240054389
Abstract: In some implementations, a system may receive, from a user device, a request to access information associated with the application. The request may include user device data indicating characteristic(s) associated with a particular use of the user device. The system may provide the user device data as input to a machine learning model, which may be trained based on historical data associated with historical usage of the application by the user device and/or other user devices. The system may receive, as an output from the machine learning model, a target environment associated with the user device. The system may identify a target user interface (UI) associated with the information associated with the application. The target UI may correspond to the target environment. • Patent number: 11877625
Abstract: A force absorbing device for a footwear appliance includes a shoe sole having a planar sole surface, such that the shoe sole is adapted to be disposed against a ground surface such as turf, grass or dirt. A ground interface member having a general appearance of a footwear cleat extends from the planar sole surface. Within the sole, the ground interface member couples to a force mitigation assembly for absorbing forces against the cleat. The force mitigation assembly includes an elastic field of a resilient, compressible material, and an inclined surface is disposed against the elastic field and oriented to compress the elastic field. A linkage or connecting surface transmits a displacement force for disposing the inclined surface across the elastic field, where the inclined surface compresses the elastic field as it moves across. In response, the elastic field exerts a counterforce against the ground interface member.

  • Patent number: 11864631
Abstract: A force dissipating device in a footwear appliance includes an actuator responsive to a displacement force from a shoe sole surface, and an elastic field of resilient, compressible material. The elastic field is elongated in a direction aligned with the displacement force, and an inclined surface is attached to the actuator and disposed against the elastic field. The actuator is adapted for movement parallel to the elastic field, while the inclined surface is oriented to compress the elastic field in a direction defined by the inclined surface. The inclined surface is oriented at an angle to compress the elastic field in a direction substantially perpendicular to vertical actuator displacement, thus providing a constant region of opposed, compressive force that is generally constant, rather than increasing with displacement distance.
