Abstract: A system and method are provided for identifying prospective entities to interact with. The method is executed by a device having a processor and a display, and includes providing a user interface via the display, determining a plurality of entities located within a geographic area, and filtering the plurality of entities using one or more filtering criteria to determine a subset of entities that correspond to a selected type of entity. The method also includes obtaining information corresponding to each of the subset of entities; using the information corresponding to the subset of entities to determine, for each entity, a ranking of being a prospective entity to interact with; identifying one or more of the subset of entities in the user interface, in association with the geographic area; and enabling contact to be initiated with a selected one of the one or more of the subset of entities.

  • Patent number: 10908892
Abstract: Provided are a computer program product, system, and method for generating and deploying code files compiled on build machines. Source code is maintained at a deployment system. Commands are sent to build machines to compile the source code into object code. The build machines have different operating systems to compile the object code. The deployment system stores the object code for each build machine in an object code file directory to provide executable object code for an operating system installed at the build machine. Different object code file directories are maintained for the object code compiled by the build machines having different operating systems. Access is provided to the object code in the object code file directories to run-time machines. Each run-time machine accesses the object code file directory in the deployment system having the object code compiled for an operating system version deployed on the run-time machine.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for inspecting fastener installation. One embodiment is a method for inspecting installation of a fastener. The method includes determining an initial distance between a nose of a swage tool and an Inner Mold Line (IML) of a part, operating the swage tool to swage a collar onto a fastener that protrudes through the IML of the part, determining a terminal distance of the nose to the IML during swaging, prior to a pintail of the fastener breaking, and arriving at a conclusion indicating a state of a fastener installation, based on the terminal distance.

  • Publication number: 20210027458
Abstract: A mobile device that includes a camera and an extended reality software application program is employed by a user in an operating environment, such as an industrial environment. One or more objects within a geofence may be identified. A device crosses within the geofence and acquires sensor data associated with an object within the geofence. The sensor data may include image data and/or audio data. The device or a server system may then determine an object identifier associated with the object based on a comparison of the sensor data with data associated with object identifiers corresponding to objects within the geofence. Based on the object identifier, data associated with the object are obtained. The data associated with the object may be presented via the device, such as an extended reality overlay over a view of the object in the device.
