  • Publication number: 20120181766
Abstract: A strut assembly includes an upper mount assembly, a shock absorber and a knuckle. The upper mount assembly is attached to a piston rod which is a part of the shock absorber. The knuckle is attached to an outer tube of the shock absorber which can be a reserve tube of a dual-tube shock absorber or a pressure tube of a single tube shock absorber. A reinforcement member increases the strength of the outer tube in the area that interfaces with the knuckle.

  • Publication number: 20090317406
Abstract: Methods of diagnosing a tauopathy and predicting whether a subject will develop a tauopathy are provided. Also provided are antibody preparations that specifically bind to tau phosphorylated at tyr394 and/or tyr310. Methods of inhibiting tau phosphorylation in a cell and methods of treating a subject having a tauopathy are additionally provided. Methods of treating a subject at risk for a tauopathy are also provided. Additionally, non-human mammals comprising a transgene encoding an abl tyrosine kinase are provided. Also provided are methods of evaluating whether a compound inhibits development of a tauopathy.

  • Patent number: 7094898
Abstract: A new class of compounds is disclosed that in preferred embodiments relate to Ru-based catalysts suitable for use in olefin metathesis reactions. Such compounds demonstrate high rates of catalytic turnover in comparison with other Ru catalysts known in the art. Moreover, the catalysts are highly stable, and readily suited to attachment to a solid support via the anionic ligands. The invention also pertains to methods of producing the catalysts, and their use in catalyzing olefin metathesis reactions.

  • Patent number: 6422839
Abstract: An electric fuel pump (10), including a housing (12), an inlet (14), an outlet (16), a means for transmitting fluid from the inlet to the outlet (18), an electrical motor (20) , two brushes to transmit electrical current to the motor (22), two electric terminals (23) to transmit current to the two brushes (22) from a wire harness (24) connecting the terminals (23) with outside controls, and a protective covering of thermoplastic (26) bonded to said terminals. The protective covering of thermoplastic prevents corrosion of the terminals (23).
