  • Patent number: 12286828
Abstract: An automated window mechanism having an electric motor attached to a sliding panel of a window configured to open and close the window by moving the sliding panel. The electric motor has a locked state in which the electric motor and sliding panel are stationary. The automated window mechanism also includes a monitor configured to detect an external force applied to the sliding panel while the electric motor is in the locked state. In response to the monitor detecting the external force while the electric motor is in the locked state, the positive lead and the negative lead are grounded, rendering the electric motor an electric brake. A method and system for preventing unwanted movement of an automated window are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20250111437
Abstract: A method and system for migrating a payment instrument portfolio. A payment network computer receives a payment instrument portfolio conversion request message from an issuer computer to convert a payment instrument portfolio from a prior payment instrument scheme to a new payment instrument portfolio based on a new payment instrument scheme. The request message includes information about existing payment instrument references from the prior payment instrument scheme. The payment network computer creates enrollments based on the information about the existing payment instrument references and sends a portfolio migration event notification message to a payment instrument requestor partner computer associated with a payment network payment instrument requestor identifier subscribed to a new event type for the payment instrument portfolio migration.

  • Publication number: 20250090242
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods are provided for registering image data with robotic data for image-guided robotic catheters and other elongate bodies. Fluid drive systems can be used to provide robotically coordinated motion. Precise control over catheter-supported tools is enhanced by alignment of fluoroscopic and ultrasound image data, particularly for structural heart and other therapies in which the catheter will interact with soft tissues. A marker plate having a planar array of machine-readable 2D barcode markers may facilitate alignment of image and robotic data. Determining an ultrasound-based pose of a component in the ultrasound image field allows that component to effectively a fiducial for alignment.

  • Publication number: 20240305628
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to enable a user to conduct a transaction using their credentials stored on a secure server computer (e.g., a computer associated with a partner such as another merchant) by merely presenting their authentication data at a physical location via an auxiliary device. An auxiliary device may be provided for interfacing with a partner's backend server (e.g., the secure server computer). In some embodiments, biometric authentication may provide a mechanism for a true seamless and potentially frictionless (in the case of modalities that do not require physical contact) interaction. Payment can occur without any need for a card, phone, wearable, or any other user device as long as the auxiliary device is able to recognize the user and retrieve a credential that can be linked to that user.

  • Patent number: 12008088
Abstract: A method is disclosed. The method includes receiving a communication comprising a real credential from a communication device and providing the real credential to a token computer. The token computer generates a token and a cryptogram, and the cryptogram is formed using a resource provider initiated transaction indicator. The method includes receiving, from the token computer, the token and the cryptogram, and transmitting, to a processing computer, an authorization request message comprising the token, the cryptogram, a resource provider identifier, and a transaction amount for a first transaction. The processing computer validates the cryptogram, exchanges the token for the real credential, stores the resource provider identifier, and forwards the authorization request message including the real credential, and the transaction amount to an authorizing entity computer. The method also includes receiving an authorization response message from the authorizing entity computer.

  • Patent number: 11907541
Abstract: Techniques for providing an adaptive approach to prefetching data for sequential read streams in a storage system. The techniques can include performing prefetch operations for a sequential read stream in accordance with a prefetch distance and a prefetch size, counting or otherwise keeping track of occurrences of failure scenarios in the prefetch operations while servicing the sequential read stream, and modifying or adjusting one of the prefetch distance and the prefetch size based on the occurrences of the respective failure scenarios. In this way, host input/output (IO) latency can be reduced, and IO bandwidth can be increased, in the servicing of sequential read streams by the storage system.
