  • Patent number: 10264158
Abstract: A method for retiring a RFID copy sheet using an imaging device having a scanner system and a printer system, each system having a RFID reader programmer. The RFID copy sheet to be retired is scanned using one of the RFID reader programmers. After determining that the user is authorized to retire the RFID copy sheet, the RFID copy sheet is rescanned by a RFID reader programmer and its associated RFID tag is reprogrammed to indicate that the RFID copy sheet is retired. Document control of the retired RFID copy sheet may also be provided using a document lifecycle database that is updated with the retired status of the RFID copy sheet.

  • Publication number: 20190069669
Abstract: A cable organizing device is disclosed. A tray, mountable adjacent an underside of a working surface, comprises opposed side walls and a distal back wall joined by a tray floor, the tray floor comprising a U-shaped trough along a proximal side forming a front side wall of the tray. The distal back wall comprises notches along its upper edge opposite the floor. A distal portion of the side walls comprises mounting tabs comprising an eccentric hinge point around which the tray rotates elliptically, rotating the back wall of the tray away from the underside of the working surface. As the tray is rotated away from the underside of the working surface an opening is formed above the back wall to allow electrical cable components to pass the notches into the tray and loose cable components in the tray slide into the U-shaped trough.

  • Publication number: 20190073860
Abstract: An interactive electronic reel gaming machine that includes a special region is disclosed. A game controller is configured to provide a reel with a particular arrangement of display positions, where each display position includes a separately controlled individual reel. Following receipt of a user input, one or more of the individual reels are spun and stopped, displaying symbols (e.g., corresponding to playing cards, pictures, credit values, etc.) in one or more of the display positions. The game controller is configured to apply a multiplier to symbols displayed in the special region. Pay awards are made when clusters of two or more like symbols are located in adjacent display positions. The pay award is increased if one or more symbols of the cluster is located in a display position corresponding to the special region. The symbol display positions are configured in a geometric shape.

  • Publication number: 20190034106
Abstract: Systems and method are directed to Universal Flash Storage (UFS) memory system configured to support deep power-down modes wherein the UFS memory system is not required to be responsive to commands received from a host device coupled to the UFS memory system. Correspondingly, in the deep power-down modes, a link or interface between the UFS memory system and the host device may also be powered down. The UFS memory system may enter the deep power-down modes based on a command received from the host device or a hardware reset assertion, and exit the deep power-down modes based on a hardware reset de-assertion or power cycling. While in deep power-down modes, the power consumption of the UFS memory device is substantially lower than the power consumption of the UFS memory device in conventional power modes.

  • Publication number: 20180344027
Abstract: A table comprising a table base and a tabletop is disclosed. The table base comprises a top surface comprising a rotatable portion comprising one or more permanent magnets. The rotatable portion rotates independently from the table base. At least a portion of the tabletop comprises a ferromagnetic material. The tabletop further comprises a usable first side and a usable second side alternately mounted to the table base by an attractive force between the ferromagnetic material and the one or more permanent magnets. Rotation of the rotatable portion of the top surface, such that the one or more permanent magnets are oriented away from the ferromagnetic material, engages or disengages the attractive force.

  • Publication number: 20180338558
Abstract: A helmet impact absorption system is provided. The absorption system will include inner and outer layers that sandwich spaced apart viscoelastic polymer elements in an activated engagement, so upon impact to the outer layer the engaged viscoelastic polymer elements become “activated”, compressing and releasing the majority of the impact force through a dispersion of non-threatening heat. Each inner and outer layer may comprise two separable hemispheric portions secured along an interface for providing further impact absorption through enabling convulsive give between the respective two separable hemispheric portions. The inner layers are dimensioned and adapted to accommodate the head of a human wearer.
