  • Publication number: 20220069637
Abstract: A method of determining a position of an object relative to an array of resonator elements for wireless transmission of power by electromagnetic coupling between adjacent resonator elements is disclosed. The object is inductively coupled to the array. The method comprises determining an input signature of the array with the object coupled thereto, measured at a probe resonator of the array. The method also comprises determining the position of the object relative to the array with reference to the input signature.

  • Patent number: 11255049
Abstract: The present invention provides an embossed multi-ply tissue product that is visually pleasing and has improved physical attributes. For example, the inventive multi-ply tissue products have reduced stiffness, such as a GM Flexural Rigidity less than about 600 mg*cm, improved absorbency, such as a Residual Water (WResidual) value less than about 0.15 g, and improved wet resiliency, such as a wet elastic strain ratio greater than about 32 percent.

  • Patent number: 11246471
Abstract: A disposable air/water valve may include a main stem providing an air passage through the center bore of the main stem. A method for manufacturing a disposable air/water valve may include several steps. The main stem is molded, and placed in a mold for over-molding seals onto the main stem. Prior to the next steps, the retaining ring, button cap, and boot may be molded. The back end of the main step is placed through the center of the retaining ring and resilient member (e.g., spring). The button cap is then placed on and secured to the main stem.

  • Publication number: 20220042248
Abstract: Disclosed are multi-ply tissue products comprising a non-crosslinked binder that are durable and dispersible. The products generally have a Slosh time less than 2 minutes, such as less than about 60 seconds, such as less than about 45 seconds. Surprisingly, the foregoing Slosh times are achieved despite the tissue products having relatively high cross-machine direction (CD) wet tensile strength, such as greater than about 100 g/3?. Typically, increasing wet tensile strength, particularly wet CD tensile strength, negatively effects dispersability and increases Slosh time. Despite this trend, the present invention surprisingly provides a tissue product having a relatively high degree of wet strength and good dispersability.

  • Patent number: 11127217
Abstract: A method, system, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for providing a shared vehicle experience between a user located in a remote location and one or more occupants of a vehicle. A device associated with the user receives an exterior video stream corresponding to an exterior environment of the vehicle, along with occupant information comprising location of the one or more occupants in the vehicle. Based on the occupant information, a first augmented video stream is generated. The first augmented video stream comprises one or more dynamic avatars representing each of the occupants of the vehicle, and shows the exterior environment of the vehicle from a perspective of a virtual passenger of the vehicle. The first augmented video stream is displayed to the user to provide the user with an experience of being in the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11107281
Abstract: A method, system, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for providing a shared vehicle experience. The method includes capturing an exterior video stream that depicts an exterior environment of a vehicle, and receiving remote user information indicating a bodily movement of a remote user. The method further includes generating and displaying an augmented video stream comprising a dynamic avatar representing the remote user as a virtual passenger, the dynamic avatar being updated based on the remote user information while the augmented video stream is being displayed in the vehicle. At least a portion of the exterior video stream and occupant information are sent to a computer device that causes, based on the at least a portion of the exterior video stream and the occupant information, a display device of the remote user to output an additional augmented video stream that provides the remote user with an experience of being in the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11085150
Abstract: The invention provides calendered tissue webs and products produced by passing a tissue web through a calender nip created by a patterned roll having a first pattern and a second pattern thereon and a substantially smooth roll. As the web is transported through the nip it is subjected to variable calender loads that impart variable cross-machine (CD) direction properties to the resulting calendered web. CD properties that may be varied according to the present invention include sheet caliper, sheet bulk and surface smoothness. The variable CD property may be preserved in the web as it is further converted, such as winding about a core, resulting in tissue products having physical properties that vary along at least one dimension of the product.
