  • Publication number: 20170373326
Abstract: A thermoelectric device includes a tubular electrode filled with an electrolyte, a core rod electrode inserted in the tubular electrode and in contact with the electrolyte, and at least one plug configured to separate the tubular electrode from the core rod electrode and to cover a filling opening of the tubular electrode. The plug is located between the tubular electrode and the core rod electrode. When the tubular electrode and the core rod electrode have a temperature difference, thermal energy can be directly converted into electric energy by the redox reaction of the electrolyte, and the tubular electrode and the core rod electrode can generate electromotive force. In particular, the thermoelectric device may use the structural design between the tubular electrode and the core rod electrode to provide a greater contact area with a heat source, and may be directly immersed in a heat source.

  • Patent number: 9591079
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and/or computer program product manages sessions of different websites. Respective session identifiers of a plurality of websites are recorded, where each of the respective session identifiers of the plurality of websites identifies a session established in response to a page open operation for a respective website, and where pages of the plurality of websites are integrated into one page on one website. An operation request for a page of a first website of the plurality of websites is received. In response to receiving the operation request, a session synchronization request message that requests that a session of the first website be synchronized with sessions of the plurality of websites is generated and transmitted from the first website to other websites from the plurality of websites.

  • Publication number: 20160252509
Abstract: Cells produce electrophilic products with the potential to modify and affect the function of proteins. Chemoproteomic methods have provided a means to qualitatively inventory proteins targeted by endogenous electrophiles; however, ascertaining the potency and specificity of these reactions to identify the most sensitive sites in the proteome to electrophilic modification requires more quantitative methods. Here, we describe a competitive activity-based profiling method for quantifying the reactivity of electrophilic compounds against 1000+ cysteines in parallel in the human proteome. Using this approach, we identify a select set of proteins that constitute hot spots for modification by various lipid-derived electrophiles, including the oxidative stress product 4-hydroxnonenal (HNE).
