  • Publication number: 20150024079
Abstract: The dough-skin folding device contains two or more folding assemblies above a conveyor belt. Each folding assembly contains a base plate and a transmission member beneath the base plate. The transmission member contains pairs of shafts arranged in two rows. Each shaft has a bottom end engaged by a rotatable roller. A pair of the rollers, driven by a power source, makes the other rollers to spin synchronously through transmission belts. A spatula is positioned in front of each folding assembly, and contains a curved blade aligned to the gap between the two rows of rollers. When a dough-skin is moved towards the folding assembles, the dough-skin's lateral sides are scraped up by spatulas and they are folded towards the middle by rollers into a loaf of dough having three layers of dough-skin for subsequent processes. The loaf of dough has multi-level mouthfeel similar to one manually made.

  • Patent number: 8806266
Abstract: Techniques are described for providing high availability for a network device, e.g., a router, using full memory replication between a primary virtual machine (VM) and a standby VM running on the network device. In one example, the techniques provide hot-standby high availability for a router by initializing a primary VM and a standby VM on the router at the same time. In another example, the techniques provide high availability for the router by initializing a standby VM on the router upon detecting a failure of the primary VM. In both examples, the primary VM controls the routing functionality and periodically stores a full memory state. Upon a failure of the primary VM, a hypervisor may perform a full memory replication between the primary VM and the standby VM. The standby VM may then take control of the routing functionality at the last stored state of the memory.

  • Patent number: 8799511
Abstract: Techniques are described for synchronizing state information between a plurality of control units. A router, for example, is described that includes a primary control unit and a standby control unit. The primary control unit maintains router resources to ensure operation of the router. To ensure operation, the primary control unit receives state information from the router resources and maintains the state information for consumers, i.e. router resources that require or “consume” state information. Prior to updating the consumers with the state information, the primary control unit synchronizes the state information with the standby control unit. In the event the primary control unit fails, the standby control unit assumes control of the router resources. Upon assuming control, the standby control unit resumes updating the consumers with state information without having to “relearn” state information, e.g., by way of power cycling the router resources to a known state.

  • Publication number: 20140214956
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and/or computer program product manages sessions of different websites. Respective session identifiers of a plurality of websites are recorded, where each of the respective session identifiers of the plurality of websites identifies a session established in response to a page open operation for a respective website, and where pages of the plurality of websites are integrated into one page on one website. An operation request for a page of a first website of the plurality of websites is received. In response to receiving the operation request, a session synchronization request message that requests that a session of the first website be synchronized with sessions of the plurality of websites is generated and transmitted from the first website to other websites from the plurality of websites.

  • Publication number: 20130168517
Abstract: A reinforced hook structure may include a hook body, having a back board which is a curved hook portion made in one piece, and a space is formed between the top portion of the hook portion and the back board to engage with a hanging unit. The front portion of the hook portion and the back board has some reinforced ribs, while the inner portion of the hook portion and the back board has a reinforced section to enhance the structural strength between the hook portion and the back board. When the hanging portion wedges in the hanging unit to hang subjects, the hanging portion has to sustain the weight of the subject and the hanging unit and when the hanging portion is weaker, it may be bended or broken.

  • Publication number: 20120114211
Abstract: Example systems and methods of generating an indicator of osteoarthritis (OA) progression are described. Fractal dimension curves are generated for horizontal and vertical trabecular components associated with a region of interest of a joint image. A statistical model is used to model shapes of the fractal dimension curves and a predictor of OA progression is calculated based on shape parameters of the statistical model.
