    Abstract: An optical device for preventing dew condensation including a housing, a transparent glass and a lens structure is provided. The housing has a first permeable portion capable of communicating between an interior and an exterior of the housing. The transparent glass has an inner surface and is coupled to the housing with the inner surface facing the interior of the housing. The lens structure is accommodated in the housing, and a chamber is formed between the lens structure, the housing and the inner surface of the transparent glass. The chamber and the exterior of the housing are capable of forming an airflow path therebetween, and the airflow path is adjustable to control whether an airflow is able to enter and exit the chamber and the exterior of the housing through the first permeable portion.

    Abstract: Compositions including recurrent hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) model generating systems are disclosed. The HCC model generating system contains a CRISPR-Cas expression vector, a transposase expression vector, and a transposon expression vector. Also provided is a non-human animal model of recurrent HCC containing genetic modifications introduced by integration of the model generating system into target liver cells of target animals. Upon stable integration, the model generating system modifies expression of Tp53 and expresses the oncogene in the target liver cells of the target animal, resulting in the development of a HCC tumors in the liver. Methods of using the non-human animal model of recurrent HCC are also provided.

    Abstract: A laser slicing apparatus, in which a laser module provides a laser beam, and a light splitting element of a focusing lens set splits the laser beam into a plurality of focused laser beams to form a plurality of induce lines having first laser modified cracks in a modified layer at a predetermined depth inside a substrate. A rotating module rotates the light splitting element with an angle, and the light splitting element converts the focused laser beams according to this angle to form a plurality of modified groups between the induce lines. Each modified group includes a plurality of modified lines having second laser modified cracks, and the first laser modified cracks and the second laser modified cracks are connected to each other to form a continuous laser modified crack in the modified layer at the predetermined depth inside the substrate, thereby speeding up the laser slicing production.

The mesa structure has two first edges extending along a first direction and two second edges extending along a second direction. A passivation layer is formed on the substrate and the mesa structure. A first opening and a plurality of second openings connected to a bottom surface of the first opening are formed and through the passivation layer, the barrier layer and a portion of the channel layer. In a top view, the first opening exposes the two first edges of the mesa structure without exposing the two second edges of the mesa structure. A metal layer is formed in the first opening and the second openings thereby forming a contact structure.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a method of forming an insulating structure of a high electron mobility transistor (HEMT), firstly, a gallium nitride layer is formed, next, an aluminum gallium nitride layer is formed on the gallium nitride layer, then, a first patterned photoresist layer is formed on the aluminum gallium nitride layer, and a groove is formed in the gallium nitride layer and the aluminum gallium nitride layer, next, an insulating layer is formed and filling up the groove. Afterwards, a second patterned photoresist layer is formed on the insulating layer, wherein the pattern of the first patterned photoresist layer is complementary to the pattern of the second patterned photoresist layer, and part of the insulating layer is removed, then, the second patterned photoresist layer is removed, and an etching step is performed on the remaining insulating layer to remove part of the insulating layer again.
