  • Publication number: 20060258492
Abstract: A sliding centrifugal drive weight for use in an automatic transmission found in motor vehicles or watercrafts. The sliding centrifugal drive weight, which mainly consists of an outer friction shell and an inner core weight, comprises an upper inclined face in sliding contact with a ramp plate, a bottom surface in sliding contact with a movable drive pulley half, a left face, and a right wear resistant face. The sliding centrifugal drive weight is designed to eliminate abnormal wear, prevent reduction gear ratio deterioration, prolong the useful life of the transmission, and have the availability to adjust reduction gear ratios as well as driving performance. At the same time, the sliding centrifugal drive weight is also adapted to compensate wear automatically, to adjust by itself to move further outward in a movable drive pulley half, make the vehicle reach a higher maximum vehicle speed.

  • Patent number: 7016997
Abstract: A testing method to discern an original source with respect to the interruption, suitable for use in a computer system is provided. The computer system includes an integrated drive electronics (IDE) bus and a peripheral component interconnect (PCI) bus. The IDE bus is connected to a testing IDE device and the standard IDE device. The PCI bus includes a plurality of input/output (I/O) ports. First, one of the I/O ports is set up with a testing flag and a command is issued to the testing IDE device. After then, the interruption sent from the testing IDE device or the standard IDE device is received. Next, it is checked whether or not the testing flag is set. If it is, then it can be determined that the interruption is coming from the testing IDE device. The present invention can discern the interruption, which is coming from which one of the correct source, under the mode or the real mode, so as to be helpful for testing.

  • Publication number: 20050048766
Abstract: A method for fabricating a conductive plug device is disclosed. A semiconductor substrate having a diffusion region thereon is provided. A dielectric layer is deposited over the semiconductor substrate. An opening is formed in the dielectric layer to expose a portion of the diffusion region. An un-doped CVD silicon layer is deposited on interior walls of the opening. A pure CVD phosphorus layer is in-situ deposited on the un-doped CVD silicon layer. The pure CVD phosphorus layer thereafter diffuses into the subjacent un-doped CVD silicon layer to form a doped silicon layer. Subsequently, a second un-doped CVD silicon layer is in-situ deposited on the doped silicon layer.

  • Patent number: 6738956
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a circuit configuration of a chip and, more particularly to a circuit configuration of a chip with a graphic controller integrated and a method for testing such a circuit configuration, in which a test circuit is employed in a main control module such that a graphic controller is directly connected to a plurality of buses in a testing mode. Thus, the testing of the graphic controller is independent of the main controller module. Moreover, the testing requests are transmitted to the graphic controller by using frequency multiplying modes, and at least one multiplexer and at least one latch are used at the memory end, so that the required pin count for testing is lowered in the present invention.

  • Patent number: 6680014
Abstract: A method for making a candle out of jelly wax includes the following steps: disposing a wick and ornaments in a container; pouring heated liquid jelly wax into the container to form a first layer, and waiting 1 to 2 hours for the liquid wax to become solid; pouring heated liquid jelly wax into the container to form a second layer with air bubbles, and waiting 30 to 40 minutes for same to change to a semi-coagulate state before beginning next step; pouring liquid jelly wax heated to between 100° C. and 150° C. into the container to form a third layer. The jelly wax of the third layer will partially mix with the second layer in semi-coagulated state to form several layers of jelly wax with colors slightly changing one to the next.

  • Publication number: 20020121155
Abstract: A retainer of a scooter handle frame comprises a handle frame, a tightening ring, and a handle rod. After the tightening ring is installed in the handle frame, the handle rod is mounted therein. When a quick detaching device is locked; the quick detaching device will tighten the handle frame and the tightening ring; and thus the sliding trench of the handle frame and the notch of the tightening ring are reduced. As a result, the handle rod is fixed in the handle rod instead of telescopically moving or rotating therein. The contact surface between handle rod and the tightening ring are smooth. When the tightening ring is worn, by the notch, the enlarged size can be compensated. When the tightening ring is destroyed, it is only necessary to update the tightening ring instead of updating the whole handle frame or handle rod so that the cost is reduced.
