  • Patent number: 7326071
Abstract: A card connector includes an insulating housing and an upper cover coupling with the insulating housing. The insulating housing includes a bottom wall, two sidewalls and a back wall, all the walls forming a receiving space therebetween to receive one of a variety of memory cards. One side of the receiving space defines a sliding groove and the other side defines a terminal cavity. Contacts which are divided into two groups are received in the insulating housing respectively. An ejecting apparatus is arranged in the sliding groove. An elastic terminal, located in the terminal cavity, has a base portion. An elastic arm connects with the base portion and continuously protrudes toward the inside bottom wall to form a contacting portion.

  • Patent number: 7314383
Abstract: A plug connector includes an upper metal cover, a lower metal cover and a conductor assembly. The upper metal cover has a front cavity and a back cavity which has a top plank. The bottom of the front cavity extends backward and forms an extension portion. Two sides of the back of the top plank bend downward and form two opposite side planks. The side plank stretches forward from its front and forms a locking slice. The conductor assembly includes a plurality of conductor pins, a housing and latches. The conductor pins and the latches are held in the housing. The housing includes a front housing and a back housing. Each side of the back housing opens a preventing recess. At the junction of the back housing and the front housing, a front wall of the back housing hollows inside and defines a recessed portion.

  • Patent number: 7288906
Abstract: A manually operated brushless DC motor is disclosed herein, which is an educational electric motor and can overcome the shortcoming hard to visualize the movement of a motor due to the high-speed rotation of the motor. The manually operated brushless DC motor according to the present invention provides two switches to replace the brushes used in a conventional motor. Users/learners have to alternatively press the switches to complete a closed circuit and drive the motor to rotate. Only when the rotor rotates in synchronism with the pressing rate of the switches, the rotor accelerates. Otherwise the rotation speed of the rotor decreases. The manually operated brushless DC motor provides the users/learners with the opportunity of viewing the rotor rotating in a slow motion, and the experience of manually operating the motor.

  • Patent number: 7285028
Abstract: A plug connector includes an insulative housing and a plurality of spring contacts retained therein. The insulative housing has a front face, a first mating face protruding from the front face, a plurality of passages extending rearwards from the first mating face for receiving a respective spring contact therein and a locking member secured in the insulative housing. The locking member has a second mating face abutting against the first mating face, a locking arm projecting forwards from the second mating face, and a pad positioned on the second mating face beside the locking arm. The shape of the gap between the plug connector and receptacle connector can be changed by adjusting the thickness of the pad. Properly, the gap is shaped to be a rectangle, so that the spring contact is provided with sufficient normal force to obtain a stable connection.

  • Patent number: 7198522
Abstract: A plug connector includes plastic covers, a mating portion and a latch. The plastic covers include an upper plastic cover and a lower plastic cover, the two plastic covers buckling with each other and forming a space. The mating portion which is fixed in the space includes a shell. A hook aperture is located on the front of the shell. The latch, which is fixed into the space, has two barricades. Each barricade stretches forward and forms an arm. Each arm has a hook at its head. The hooks pass through the hook apertures and project outwardly, wherein each barricade of the latch protrudes upward and forms a locating bulge. Correspondingly two locating cavities are defined inside the top surface of the upper plastic cover. The locating bulges are inset into the locating cavities.
