    Abstract: An adjustable pump includes a ring connected to an open end of a container, a cap rectilinearly movable relative to the ring to dispense fluid from the container, and a quantity-adjusting unit that includes a limiting element and a knob. The limiting element is adapted for contacting the cap and hence limiting the rectilinear movement of the cap relative to the ring. The limiting element is rectilinearly movable relative to the ring to adjust a stroke of the movement of the cap relative to the ring. The limiting element includes at least one boss. The knob is rotatable relative to the ring around the limiting element. The knob includes at least one helical groove that receives the boss so that the limiting element is moved relative to the ring as the knob is rotated relative to the ring.

    Abstract: A grinding ring set for semiconductor wafer in chemical and mechanical grinding process includes a grinding surface and an attaching surface attaching to the grinding surface. Material of the attaching ring is selected from HDPE, PE, PPS, PBT, PEI, PEEK, PET, PTFE, PBI, PAI, PETP, PVC, NYLON, POM, ABS, PVDF, etc. or the combination thereof, compound of two or more plastic additives, which has a weight percentage between 0.9-1.8 g/cm3. The grinding ring set may also be made of plastic materials, but is different from those used in the attaching ring. Therefore, by above mentioned design, the whole weight is light with a preferred strength, lower cost, less processes, and reduction of rust, etc. Furthermore, plastic is more flexible then metal.

    Abstract: A battery system includes a unit battery module, a current and coulomb measurement circuit and a master control circuit. The unit battery module stores electricity and calculates battery information of the battery set according to a system current value, a system coulomb value, a cell voltage and a cell temperature of the battery set. The current and coulomb measurement circuit is coupled to the unit battery module, generates the system current value according to the current flowing though the battery set, generates the system coulomb value by integrating the system current value, and provides the system current value and the system coulomb value to the unit battery module. The master control circuit is coupled to the unit battery module, receives the battery information from the unit battery module, generates a system battery information according to the battery information and provides the system battery information to an external device.

An expected residual capacity corresponding to a condition when a terminal voltage of the rechargeable battery reaches a limited charge voltage is found from the characteristic curve related to the charge cycle vs. the residual capacity of the non-constant voltage charging stage by using a current charge cycle count of the rechargeable battery. A real residual capacity corresponding to a condition when the terminal voltage of the rechargeable battery reaches the limited charge voltage approaches to the expected residual capacity by adjusting a charging current of the rechargeable battery.

    Abstract: A method for estimating battery degradation is provided. In this method, a remaining capacity is obtained by looking up a device characteristic table according to a steady open circuit voltage of a battery. Besides, a constant current is provided to charge the battery, and when a terminal voltage of the battery reaches to a charging preset voltage, a constant voltage is provided to charge the battery. The transition point information at the transition from a constant current mode to a constant voltage mode, which includes a transition point estimated open circuit voltage, a transition point voltage, a transition point current and a transition point battery temperature, is analyzed based on voltage, current, temperature and capacity information measured during the charging process. A battery degradation index is calculated from the transition point information.

    Abstract: A method for estimating a capacity of a battery includes providing a look-up table storing data relating to a voltage and a capacity of the battery, and initializing the battery to reach an initialization state which serves as a starting point for a discharging process. The method also includes discharging the battery, from the initialization state, by a first amount of charge to reach a first state, calculating an actual capacity of the battery based on a measured amount of charge discharged from the initialization state to the first state, measuring an open-circuit voltage at the first state, obtaining a look-up capacity of the battery from the look-up table according to the open-circuit voltage measured at the first state, calculating a difference between the actual capacity and the look-up capacity, and correcting the look-up table based on the difference.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a pressure-resistant hose. The hose includes an inner lining (10), a fabric woven layer (30) and an outer sheath (20). The fabric woven layer includes first-direction threads (31) and second-direction threads (32) that are wound around the inner lining such that the second-direction threads cross the first-direction threads. Each of the first- and second-direction threads comprises joined thread formed by joining at least two strands of yarn. The yarns of the joined thread are brought into parallel contact with each other and are wound around the inner lining. Each yarn comprises a filament yarn. The first- and second-direction threads are wound around the inner lining in such a way that ten or less joined threads form a pitch so that the inner lining and the outer sheath can be coupled to each other through openings formed in the fabric woven layer.
