    Abstract: Method and an apparatus for determining a bearer for mobile edge computing are disclosed. A Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) can obtain a data packet that includes an end marker. The MEC can obtain a bearer identifier and an identifier of UE in a handover procedure according to the data packet that includes the end maker, and requests information about the second bearer from a node of a second bearer. The request can include the bearer identifier of the UE and the identifier of the UE. The node of the second bearer can return a response message and information regarding the second bearer according to the request. The MEC can receive the response message and store the information regarding the second bearer according to the identifier of the UE and the bearer identifier of the UE.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application relate to a multipath data transmission processing method and a network device. A first network device receives a packet from a first host device, and determines a first connection identifier between the first network device and a second network device based on the packet. The first network device encapsulates the packet based on the first connection identifier. The first network device sends the encapsulated packet to the second network device through one of a plurality of subflows between the first network device and the second network device. According to the embodiments of this application, multipath data transmission is implemented, a data transmission rate is increased, and a host device does not perceive a plurality of paths. The embodiments of this application can be applied to any existing communications system.

By using the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present disclosure, after receiving the GTP-U uplink packet sent by the base station device, the MEC platform can obtain the TEID of the base station device according to the GTP-U uplink packet, and therefore, can correctly perform GTP-U encapsulation, and send the GTP-U downlink packet to the base station device.

The apparatus determines that user equipment UE needs cell handover; and the apparatus sends a first instruction message to a server, where the first instruction message is used to instruct the server to stop sending downlink data to the proxy device, and sends cached downlink data to the UE. Therefore, the following problem is avoided: After UE is disconnected from a source cell and is connected to a new cell, because the UE does not receive partial downlink data cached by a TCP proxy or because partial cached data is lost, the UE initiates retransmission to a server, but the server does not retransmit an acknowledged packet according to a TCP protocol, causing TCP connection interruption and service interruption.
