One example method includes a first device obtaining capability information of a radio access network device, configuring an API, setting a use time limit of the API, where the API is used to provide the capability information for a second device, triggering a registration function to send registration information to the second device, where the registration information includes an identifier of the API, receiving an API request sent by the second device, where the API request includes the identifier of the API, detecting whether the use time limit of the API expires, and if the use time limit of the API does not expire, sending an API response to the second device by using the API, where the API response includes the capability information.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application relate to the wireless communications field, and in particular, to a session management method and a session management network element. The session management method includes: receiving, by a first control plane network element, a user equipment UE context response message from a second control plane network element, where the UE context response message carries a first session message, and the first session message is a pending session message; and sending, by the first control plane network element, a second session message to user equipment according to the UE context response message. According to the session management method and the session management network element in the embodiments of the present application, a session can be managed in a scenario in which a control plane connection of user equipment changes.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to data transmission methods and apparatus. One example method includes receiving, by user equipment, a first message sent by a control plane network element or a user plane network element, where the first message includes a correspondence between a first quality of service identifier (NQI) and a first reflective quality of service identifier (RQI), obtaining, by the user equipment, a second message sent by the user plane network element, and if the second message does not carry a second RQI, generating, by the user equipment, a first quality of service rule based on the second message and the correspondence between the first NQI and the first RQI, where the second RQI is used to instruct the user equipment to activate a reflective quality of service (RQ) mechanism.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a location management method, a control plane node, and user equipment. A first control plane node determines first location area management information of UE, where the first location area management information includes N levels of location area identity lists, and a periodic time value PTV and a reachable time value RTV that correspond to each level of location area identity list in the N levels of location area identity lists; and performs paging management based on the first location area management information. In a process of performing the paging management, the first control plane node determines a paging area in areas to which the N levels of location area identity lists belong, and performs the paging management only in the paging area, instead of performing the paging management in all the areas corresponding to the N levels of location area identity lists.

Abstract: A network function virtualization NFV fault management apparatus, device, and method are disclosed. The apparatus includes: a receiver, configured to receive a fault subscription message sent by at least one subscription node in an NFV system and a fault publish message sent by at least one fault publish node in the NFV system, where the fault subscription message includes fault information to which a subscription is requested; a processor, configured to perform matching between the fault information to which a subscription is requested and the fault publish message, and generate a fault notification message; and a transmitter, configured to notify the fault notification message to the at least one subscription node. The method includes: receiving trigger information sent by an intermediary device; and assisting, based on the trigger information, the intermediary device in negotiating with UE and a network server, to enable the intermediary device to obtain a first key, where the first key is used by the intermediary device to decrypt ciphertexts sent by the UE and the network server, the ciphertext is obtained after the UE or the network server encrypts service information by using a second key, and the first key is corresponding to the second key. The present invention resolves a problem that an intermediary device cannot provide service optimization for user equipment and a network server because the intermediary device cannot decrypt ciphertext, and achieves an effect of expanding a usage scope of service optimization.
