  • Publication number: 20030225382
Abstract: The present invention is a method of and an apparatus for creating a pulsed stream of particles in a carrier means, such as air. A pre-metered stream of particles is accumulated in a pulsing chamber of a pulsing means by interrupting the stream of particles by a separator means, which interrupts the flow for a certain portion of the pulse period. The accumulated particles are then removed from the pulsing means by suction, such as by using an ejector.

  • Publication number: 20030186652
Abstract: The invention relates to a system for unidrectional or bi-directional signal transmission between at least two elements (E1, E2), which constitute components of an electric power supply and signal transmission system (EVS) of vehicles. According to the invention, one of the elements (E1) is connected to at least one Bluetooth radio module (B1) and one of the other elements (B2) is connected to at least one Bluetooth radio module (B2). The unidirectional or bi-directional signal transmission between the elements (E1) and (E2) and to the Bluetooth radio modules (B1, B2) takes place via an electric cable, but is wireless between the Bluetooth radio modules (B1, B2). Several elements (E1, E2) that are connected to Bluetooth radio modules (B1, B2) can be combined to form a Bluetooth pico-network. The Bluetooth radio modules (B1, B2) permit bi-directional signal transmission. A maximum of eight Bluetooth radio modules (B1, B2) can transmit signals to each other in a Bluetooth pico-network.

  • Publication number: 20030155066
Abstract: A method of making a tailgate for a pickup truck or the like includes selecting a pair of polymer sheets and selecting a flexible fiberglass woven mat and sandwiching the selected fiberglass woven mat between the selected pair of polymer sheets. The sandwiched mat polymer sheets are placed on a tailgate forming mold for molding the inner tailgate panel from the sandwiched matted polymer sheets. The inner tailgate panel has a plurality of spacing reinforcing ribs thereon. The outer tailgate panel is formed and the ribs on the inner tailgate panel have a cold setting adhesive applied thereto for binding the outer tailgate panel thereover to form a tailgate having inner and outer fiberglass reinforced polymer panels spaced and reinforced by a plurality of intersecting ribs. Once the inner and outer panels have been positioned, they are placed in a fixture to hold them while the adhesive cures.

  • Publication number: 20030098615
Abstract: An antitheft device for a motor vehicle has a first receiver (2) in the motor vehicle, which is designed to receive signals in narrowband. The signals received by means of this receiver are evaluated in accordance with the code information contained in them.
