  • Publication number: 20230073188
Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically determining damage information and publishing said damage information are provided. A notice of loss associated with a damaged item may be received. An apparatus may analyze the damaged item to determine damage information for any damage elements present on the damaged item. The damage information may be transmitted to a damage estimate server to determine a line-item cost estimate for the damaged item based on expected costs of repair for the damaged elements. The line-item cost estimate may then be presented to a repair service provider as an offer to repair the damaged item. Further, a database comprising the damage information and/or line-item cost estimate may be published to a marketplace for use by service providers.

  • Patent number: 11580605
Abstract: Systems and methods provide for an automated system for analyzing damage and processing claims associated with an insured item, such as a vehicle. An enhanced claims processing server may analyze damage associated with the insured item using photos/video transmitted to the server from a user device (e.g., a mobile device). The mobile device may receive feedback from the server regarding the acceptability of submitted photos/video, and if the server determines that any of the submitted photos/video is unacceptable, the mobile device may capture additional photos/video until all of the data are deemed acceptable. To aid in damage analysis, the server may also interface with various internal and external databases storing reference images of undamaged items and cost estimate information for repairing previously analyzed damages to similar items. Further still, the server may generate a payment for compensating a claimant for repair of the insured item.

  • Publication number: 20230020642
Abstract: Systems and methods provide for an automated system for analyzing damage to process claims and pre-claim consultations associated with an insured item, such as a vehicle. In addition, the server may interface with third party entities such as repair shops and may generate a payment for compensating a claimant for repair of the insured item.

  • Patent number: 11532049
Abstract: Systems and methods provide for configuring and transferring multiple data files including image data files using a mobile device. A mobile device may acquire multiple data files including image files from disparate sources and transmit them to an enhanced image processing server. The enhanced image processing server may analyze the received image files using various techniques. To aid in analysis, the server may also interface with various internal and external databases storing reference images or other reference data of previously analyzed similar data. Further still, the enhanced image processing server may transmit a result of the analysis back to a mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20220396229
Abstract: Event-based connected vehicle control and response systems, methods, and apparatus are disclosed. An example method comprises identifying the occurrence of an event, storing first data corresponding to apparatus operation for a first threshold amount of time prior to the event, during the occurrence of the event, and for a second threshold amount of time after the event, determining whether a responsive object is involved in or near the event, in response to determining that the responsive object is involved in or near the event, transmitting the first data to the responsive object, and receiving, from the responsive object, second data, analyzing the first data and the second data to determine a party at-fault for the event, aggregating the first data and second data into an event report, and causing, automatically, a response to be initiated through an entity associated with the party at-fault.

  • Publication number: 20220301071
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods are provided for the usage of enhanced pictures (e.g., photos) of tangible objects (e.g., property, cars, etc.) damaged in an accident and answers to questions about the accident to better assess the effect of the damage (e.g., repair expenses and accompanying changes to an insurance policy). A pre-FNOL system may receive responses to one or more questions regarding an accident and one or more enhanced pictures of the tangible property damaged in the accident. The pre-FNOL system may use the responses to the one or more questions and the one or more enhanced pictures to determine repair costs associated with the damaged property and accompanying changes to the insurance policy if an insurance claim were to be filed to cover the determined repairs costs.

  • Patent number: 11392966
Abstract: Devices and servers in a commercial insurance growth data system may be configured to receive and respond to requests for commercial insurance growth data from insurance agents. For example, an insurance provider server may be configured to receive commercial insurance information requests from insurance agent devices, determine sets of insurance agent characteristics for the corresponding agents, generate commercial insurance growth data packages based on sets of agent characteristics and other factors, and transmit the commercial insurance growth data packages to the insurance agent devices. The sets of agent characteristics may be provided by an insurance agent user via a software user interface and/or may be retrieved from an insurance agent database. Business segments for commercial insurance growth may be selected by the insurance agent, or may be selected for the insurance agent via an analysis by an insurance provider.

  • Publication number: 20220198574
Abstract: Systems, methods apparatuses, and computer-readable media for analyzing vehicle accident claim information from a vehicle that is deemed a total loss, as well as historical data, to determine whether one or more parts from the vehicle are available for reuse is presented. In some examples, aspects may also relate to determining whether the parts available for reuse should be stored by the entity using the system (e.g., the insurance company) for future use in the repair of other vehicles, such as other vehicles insured by the insurance company, or should be sold. The determination to store or sell the part may be based, at least in part, on historical data of the entity.

  • Patent number: 11361385
Abstract: Systems and methods provide for an automated system for analyzing damage to process claims associated with an insured item, such as a vehicle. An enhanced claims processing server may analyze damage associated with the insured item using photos/video transmitted to the server from a user device (e.g., a mobile device). The enhanced claims processing server may submit a signal that locks one or more portions of an application on the mobile device used to submit the photos/videos. The mobile device may receive feedback from the server regarding the acceptability of submitted photos/video. The photos may further be annotated using, for example, a touch screen display. An estimate, such as a cost estimate, may be determined for the damage associated with the insured item based on the photos and/or annotations.

  • Publication number: 20220164895
Abstract: A system for a predictive claims computing platform may comprise a plurality of vehicles, a computing device associated with a repair facility, a network, and a server. The server may be configured to determine an insurance coverage type needed for repairing each vehicle in the plurality of vehicles, identify a location of the repair facility for repairing each vehicle, assign a standard amount to reimburse the repair facility for repairing each vehicle based on insurance coverage type and the location of the repair facility, transmit the standard amount to the computing device associated with the repair facility, receive from the computing device, a cost for actual repair of each vehicle after the actual repair for each vehicle has been completed, and adjust the standard amount to reimburse the repair facility for future repairs based on identifying a difference between the standard amount and the actual repair cost for each vehicle.
