Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for facing a tissue block. In some embodiments, a method is provided for facing a tissue block that includes imaging a tissue block to generate imaging data of the tissue block, the tissue block comprising a tissue sample embedded in an embedding material, estimating, based on the imaging data, a depth profile of the tissue block, wherein the depth profile comprises a thickness of the embedding material to be removed to expose the tissue sample to a pre-determined criteria, and removing the thickness of the embedding material to expose the tissue to the pre-determined criteria.

Abstract: The present disclosure also relates to systems and methods for quality control in histology systems. In some embodiments, a method is provided that includes receiving a tissue block comprising a tissue sample embedded in an embedding material, imaging the tissue block to create a first imaging data of the tissue sample in a tissue section on the tissue block, removing the tissue section from the tissue block, the tissue section comprising a part of the tissue sample, imaging the tissue section to create a second imaging data of the tissue sample in the tissue section, and comparing the first imaging data to the second imaging data to confirm correspondence in the tissue sample in the first imaging data and the second imaging data based on one or more quality control parameters.

Abstract: The disclosure proposes a novel method for generating public polynomials. The method simplifies key exchange processes, reduces the time required for key exchange and reduces the bandwidth required for data transmission from a server to a client. Secondly, the method keeps the calculation processes at both sides synchronized through a novel data exchange solution, particularly through handshaking signals, to ensure that the server and the client are always in the same key exchange process. In addition, the method further reduces a transmission bandwidth by sending information of the client twice. A state synchronization mechanism of the client and the server is proposed in the disclosure to ensure that Trivium modules at both sides are in the same state at the beginning of each key exchange, thereby avoiding reinitializing the modules and improving the operation efficiency of the whole system.

Abstract: A method for de-contouring a source image is provided. In the method, a reference image is obtained based on the source image. Multi-oriented gradient calculation is performed on each pixel of the reference image, so as to obtain, for each pixel of the reference image, multiple gradient features that respectively correspond to multiple directions. For each pixel of the reference image, a monotonicity index is determined based on the corresponding gradient features. Then, a detail-protecting and de-contour operation is performed on the source image based on the monotonicity indices determined for the pixels of the reference image.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for 3D packaging. In some embodiments, a semiconductor package includes a first die and a second die. The first die includes a first bonding pad on a top of the first die and near a first edge of the first die. The second die includes a second bonding pad on a top of the second die and near a second edge of the second die. A pillar is located on the second bonding pad. The first die is mounted on top of the second die such that the first edge is parallel to the second edge and offset from the second edge such that the pillar is exposed. A wire is bonded to a bonding surface of the pillar and bonded to a bonding surface of the first bonding pad.

Abstract: A highly temperature-resistant glass fiber and a preparation method therefor. The glass fiber comprises 62-66 wt % of SiO2, 14-19 wt % of Al2O3, 15-20 wt % of CaO, 0-2 wt % of MgO, 0-3 wt % of Fe2O3, and 0-1.2 wt % of TiO2, the total content of Na2O and K2O is 0.1-0.8 wt %. By precisely controlling the mixture of the components, the glass fiber has good resistance to high temperature and formability, and significantly increases the high-temperature softening point. The glass fiber has a forming temperature of not exceeding 1380° C., an upper limit temperature of devitrification of lower than 1280° C., and a high temperature softening temperature of 950° C. or above.
