    Abstract: A connector for connecting a wire comprises a housing, a conductive terminal, and sealing member. The housing has a receiving passage extending through the housing in an insertion direction in which the wire is inserted into the housing. The receiving passage has an insertion port disposed at an end of the receiving passage in the insertion direction. The conductive terminal is disposed in the receiving passage and electrically connects the wire to a mating conductive terminal of a mating connector. The sealing member is disposed adjacent the insertion port and has a wire receiving passageway though which the wire extends. The sealing member seals the receiving passage at the insertion port.

A wedge channel is defined between the first release structure and the second release structure when the conductor is clamped between the pair of elastic arms and the wedge channel gradually widens toward free ends of the pair of elastic arms. The pair of elastic arms are adapted to be expanded away from each other by inserting an external tool into the wedge channel, so as to release the clamped conductor, improving the use convenience of the connector.

Since the heat conduction angle is more than 180 degrees, the heat produced by the diode may be rapidly transferred to the conduction terminal in time to avoid deterioration or damage to the diode, improving the heat dissipation rate, and improving the current carrying capacity of the photovoltaic junction box.
