Publication number: 20210278934Abstract: Techniques for previewing and presenting content of different applications in a user interface are described. In an example, a computer system determines a presentation template defined for a page application. The page application is configured to present a page about a target application, and the page includes a preview area and a body area. The system receives a user selection of an icon in a menu, whereby the icon corresponds to the target application. The system then presents in the user interface contents based on data stored in local memory, whereby the contents are presented according to an arrangement specified by the presentation template for the preview area. The system then receives a user request for additional information about the target application, and subsequently presents at least a portion of the body area of the page based on an execution of the page application.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 3, 2020Publication date: September 9, 2021Inventors: Nick R. Patent number: 9524095Abstract: The present technique relates to a display control device, a display control method, and a program that are capable of making inputtable gesture motions easy to notice. A display control unit causes a display unit to display a gesture motion guide in a first state. When a detecting unit for detecting gesture motions detects a predetermined gesture motion, the display control unit changes the guide corresponding to the detected gesture motion to a second state and then causes the display unit to display the guide. The technique according to this disclosure can be applied to an information processing terminal that includes a display unit, for example.Type: GrantFiled: April 12, 2012Date of Patent: December 20, 2016Assignee: SONY CORPORATIONInventors: Koichi Akasaka, Daisuke Kawamura, Hiromitsu Oka

Patent number: 9509496Abstract: An electronic key registration system includes an electronic key device that stores a key ID and a first piece of information. A controller is arranged in a communication subject. A registration tool writes the key ID to the controller and stores a second piece of information. Encrypted communication between the communication subject and the electronic key device is enabled after the key ID and a corresponding encryption key are written to the controller. An information center, which communicates with the registration tool, receives and compares the first and second pieces of information. The registration tool is permitted to write the key ID when receiving a signal from the information center indicating that the first and second pieces of information conform to each other.Type: GrantFiled: October 2, 2013Date of Patent: November 29, 2016Assignee: KABUSHIKI KAISHA TOKAI RIKA DENKI SEISAKUSHOInventors: Daisuke Kawamura, Yuki Nawa
