    Abstract: A grid and skin assembly for use in a composite laminate structure is described. The assembly includes a metallic grid having a plurality of intersecting ribs oriented in at least two distinct rib directions offset at a grid angle relative to one another and defining respective intersection points; and a composite laminate skin having a plurality of ply layers comprising a plurality of tapes oriented in at least two distinct tape directions offset at a ply angle relative to one another. The grid angle is at least 25 degrees, the intersection points define glueless joints of the metallic grid, and the grid is a non-aluminum-based material. A grid and method of manufacturing the grid and skin assembly is also described. The method includes a water jet cutting procedure and glueless joint formation due to differing thermal expansion characteristics of the grid and skin.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for the in vitro large-scale expansion of double-negative T cells rich in Tscm and Tem. Specifically, the method comprises the step of: (a) providing an initial sample I of peripheral blood obtained from a donor, (b) pretreating the initial sample I to obtain sample II, and (c) culturing sample II in a culture system containing a culture medium suitable for the growth of DNT cell, thereby obtaining a sample III. The expansion process of the present invention is simple and stable, and can achieve the in vitro large-scale culturing of DNT cells rich in Tscm and Tcm cell characteristics. The purity of the final product DNT cells (CD3+CD4?CD8?) is ?85%, which meets the requirements for clinical use.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a metal artifact reduction method in an image domain for spectral CT, and belongs to the technical field of CT imaging. During imaging of a target (e.g., a patient) with a metal implant, metal artifacts can be observed in virtual monoenergetic images obtained by current devices, in particular, it is more obvious at a low energy (low keV). According to the method, by extraction of non-artifact regions (or low-artifact regions) in the virtual monoenergetic images in which artifacts exist and decomposition of basis materials, a relational model between basis materials and artifact-free (or low-artifact) images is constructed, then pixel (voxel) CT values in the artifact-free monoenergetic images corresponding to artifact regions in the above images with artifacts are substituted into the above relational model, and new decomposition of the basis materials is acquired, so that virtual monoenergetic images after artifact correction under arbitrary energy are synthesized.
